Poll: Men’s Support for Abortion Is on the Decline
A new poll shows that the percentage of men who find abortion “morally acceptable” has dropped nearly 10% in the last year.
A recent Gallup poll broke down year-to-year support for abortion by gender. In 2024, it found that 47% of men found abortion to be morally acceptable. With the new 2025 numbers, the fraction of men is now only 40%.
The pro-choice camp has long refused to acknowledge that abortion affects fathers just as much as it affects mothers.
An article published by Human Life International details the effects of abortion on men, and it cites a pro-abortion study, which found that one in 20 men admit to psychological distress post abortion. A similar study, however, acknowledges that men are much less likely to come forward about emotional distress over abortion and often suffer in silence.
With the rise in abortion pill abortions, the number of men who have a chance to fight for their children and families is likely diminishing. These abortions are often done in secret and in solitude.
Just as much as abortion hurts women, it hurts men too. But healing exists, and so do resources for post-abortive men. Rachel’s Vineyard hosts a retreat for men affected by abortion; it offers healing for post-abortive men and for men who are with a woman who has had an abortion.
‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ Becomes Less and Less Beautiful
Read the most recent Wednesday STOPP Report.
STOPP already sounded the alarm that the budget bill does NOT fully defund Planned Parenthood and in fact would subsidize the organization to abort babies condemned in the exceptions clause.
But it gets even worse. LifeSiteNews just published an article that details how, thanks to loopholes that are exploited by Democrats, Planned Parenthood will receive even more “backdoor funding” in the budget bill.
A memo from House conservatives waves the red flag, stating, “While the House OBBB does prohibit Medicaid funding for abortion providers, organizations like Planned Parenthood will still receive backdoor funding in support of abortions and transgender surgeries via Medicaid money laundering schemes allowed under the provider tax safe harbor.”
According to LifeSiteNews, California and New York currently exploit a loophole, which the pending budget bill does not address, that allows them to inflate their own Medicaid subsidies, which they can then use to fund abortions and transgender drugs and surgeries.
House conservatives are calling on the Senate to reject the budget bill.
When lawmakers promised to defund Planned Parenthood, we expected them to follow through. The current budget bill is an embarrassment to the pro-life movement and a cheeky slap on the wrist for Planned Parenthood.
Enough is enough. Defund Planned Parenthood.
New York Could Become the 12th US State to Legalize Assisted Suicide
This past Monday, New York’s Senate passed a bill, S138, that would legalize physician-assisted suicide for terminally ill patients. The bill is now awaiting pro-abortion governor Kathy Hochul’s signature for enshrinement into state law. Currently, 11 states and Washington, DC, have legalized this heinous practice of medical murder, with New York likely to join in. This devastating decision by New York’s Senate follows just a few weeks after Delaware’s governor, Matt Meyer, signed legislation to permit assisted suicide throughout Delaware.
According to S138, the patient must be determined terminally ill by the physician and make an oral or written request to his physician for medication that will end his life. The bill defines terminal illness as an “an incurable and irreversible illness or condition that has been medically confirmed and will, within reasonable medical judgment, produce death within six months.”
It also states that the patient can make a written request to kill himself with doctor-prescribed drugs if he has been diagnosed as terminally ill and if he has given his full consent to this decision. The written request must be signed by the patient and two adult witnesses to ensure that the patient can make this decision.
The New York Times points out that because S138 has no residency requirements, “it opens the door for terminally ill patients from out of state to come to New York to end their lives.”
This process shows the absolute horror of the disregard for human life.
By legalizing or even considering assisted suicide as an option, we are telling human beings that they are no longer worthy of dignity, respect, and their own life because of their suffering. This is an unacceptable and antithetical approach to charity, dignity, or compassion—words that the pro-euthanasia and assisted suicide crowd love to misuse to justify their support of these evil actions.
New York Democratic senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal said the following about the bill: “This is about personal autonomy. This is about liberty. This is about exercising one’s own freedom to control one’s own body.”
Haven’t we heard this same language used to justify murder time and time again?
The New York Catholic Conference along with the New York Catholic bishops publicly condemned this bill, with the Catholic conference’s executive director calling Monday a “dark day for New York state.”
While New York remains one step away from permitting the medical murder of terminally ill patients, we need our bishops and priests in New York and throughout the country to continuously condemn these acts of violence that disregard human life and remind Catholics why we cannot vote for or support these acts. We need the clergy’s guidance, prayers, and presence to lead Catholics to an understanding of why assisted suicide, euthanasia, abortion, IVF, and other acts of violence against human life are never permissible.
Join ALL in praying for New York, for those who are sick and dying, and for strength and courage from our bishops and priests within the Church.

‘So Stupid’; Democrat Congresswoman Props Up Sleeping Child for Cameras
Democrat’s detestation of babies is best understood by how they treat them. If they’re not advocating for their murder before birth, they’re hauling them in front of cameras to score political points.
This baby is a prop. So tired of seeing this. The baby can be left off stage with a nanny or back at the office. People who use their children for attention have mental issues. pic.twitter.com/coZoP6W8dw

Colorado Congressman Brittany Pettersen has been using her son as a prop since he was four weeks old. No doubt other members of Congress have children just as young, but they have the sensibility of leaving them with a spouse or caretaker.
They have taxpayer on-site daycare

Imagine if Karoline Leavitte did this kin of performative theater. There’d be an MSNBC headline like ‘Barbie Baby Prop’ or the like.

There’s a difference between taking pictures of a child while working, and propping a child up center stage.
This is just weird. It’s as if she believes she is the only mom with a baby who has gone back to work.

This is so stupid! Clyburn didn't want to hold that baby. I guarantee he was uncomfortable. And she's just an idiot. She uses her baby to get attention. Munchausen By Proxy.
— DreamBird (@DreamBird386989) June 12, 2025
This is terrible. Who takes a baby trying to sleep on a stage. What’s this child’s purpose here, for this woman to gain favor?
— Viv Ralls (@viv_ralls) June 12, 2025
The rest of us hire a baby sitter when we go to work. We don't make a spectacle of it either.
— HisWay (@NoWayHiWay1) June 12, 2025
None of us has daycare covered 100% by taxpayers, either. With any luck, Pettersen won’t win re-election, and her child can return to napping in his own bed.
