Two Important Actions This Week!

FIRST, this Tuesday, March 25, is World Down Syndrome Day. Preborn babies diagnosed with Down syndrome should be on the “endangered species” list. ABC News reported in 2009 on research reviewed by Dr. Brian Skotko, a pediatric geneticist at Children’s Hospital Boston, and stated that “an estimated 92 percent of all women who receive a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome choose to terminate their pregnancies.”

Babies with Down syndrome are special. One only needs to meet these marvelous individuals as they grow in nurturing families to know the truth. These are the human beings who bring one much-needed quality—love—to all who meet them! As they live their lives, they truly make us all better people. A world without people with Down syndrome would be a much poorer place to live.

Please use this coming Tuesday to educate your community, family, and friends about Down syndrome and on the need to protect these babies in the womb.

SECOND, Monday and Tuesday of this coming week, the United States Senate will hold confirmation hearings for Judge Neil Gorsuch. President Donald Trump has nominated him for the Supreme Court and we must pray and work for his confirmation.

Beginning today, please contact your two US senators and let them know you want them to treat Judge Gorsuch fairly during the hearings and then vote to confirm him when the Senate votes in a couple of weeks.

To contact your senators, go to Senate.gov, enter your state in the box at the top right of the page, and call the numbers given.

Use the #CONFIRMGORSUCH on social media to express your support for Judge Gorsuch.

This is a critical time; we need everyone to participate.
