| National Pro-Life T-Shirt Contest Begins Washington, DC – WHO: American Life League’s National Pro-Life T-Shirt Week Photo Contest WHAT: American Life League will release the first tasks in its National Pro-Life T-Shirt Week Photo Contest on Thursday, April 1. Participants should submit photos of themselves wearing a pro-life T-shirt and fulfilling as many of the tasks as possible from April 1 – May 3. The participant with the most points will win an iPod Touch. Tasks to perform and document in photos include: A photo of you …in an actual phone booth (like Superman uses).with a Catholic nun wearing a habit.holding a pro-life sign while participating in a pro-life march.WHEN: April 1 – May 3, 2010 WHY: NPLTW seeks to increase awareness of the personhood of the child in the womb and the tragedy of abortion. “By wearing a pro-life shirt and completing the tasks in public, kids learn how to communicate and take a very effective stand for the personhood of the preborn,” said Scott Carroll, ALL’s project director for National Pro-Life T-Shirt Week. “Primarily, we are concerned with getting people to think of the child in the womb as a person from the moment of his or her biological inception. It is much harder to murder a person than it is to ‘remove a lump of tissues,’ and it is only when we finally get the nation thinking in those terms that we will be able to restore the right to life of our preborn brothers and sisters.”American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown.
