Going Back to School with Pro-life Basics
It’s that time of year again! Across the country, young people are getting ready to begin a new school year filled with learning, growth, and discovery. While subjects like math, science, and literature are essential to a well-rounded education, there’s another important conversation that deserves a place in every child’s education: the value of every human being.
In this age of digital distraction and with so much immorality, it’s vital to teach our youth about pro-life values and how to defend them.
That’s where we can help!
American Life League’s Culture of Life Studies Program is designed to introduce your children, ages preK-12, to age-appropriate pro-life topics such as human dignity, compassion for others, abortion, and euthanasia, and to teach them how to defend it.
CLSP has found success all across the country and is used at homes and in classrooms by both teachers and parents. Here are what some of them are saying:
I’ve just ordered several copies of Who Was the Real Margaret Sanger? for use on our youth buses travelling to Washington, DC, for the March for Life in January. Thank you for creating such a valuable program!
Colleen Miner, Respect Life Director, Diocese of Ogdensburg, NYMy friend and I lead a homeschool ministry together. This past year, we did a couple of the Culture of Life Studies Program’s lessons for our faith study program. Our group really enjoyed them! We are planning to use All Shapes and Sizes next school year. We love that it is all put together for us and the way the content is presented. It is so full of the Spirit!

Nearly all the materials are available online as digital downloads for your convenience, and many of them are free! Educating the next generation is our top priority, and it needs to be yours as well.
If you haven’t already, we invite you to make CLSP part of your home and classroom. When we teach young people to value and cherish every human being, those lessons don’t stop with them; they ripple outward into their families, friendships, and communities. By investing in the next generation, we can inspire a culture that recognizes the dignity and worth of every person. That’s how real, lasting change begins.
American Life League Educates Virginians on the Dangers of Two Proposed Amendments
American Life League officially released its Save Virginia Campaign at the beginning of July in response to the proposed abortion and marriage amendments that will appear on Virginia ballots this fall. With early voting beginning in less than a month in the commonwealth, ALL is working to educate Virginians about the dangers that these amendments, if passed, would present to the dignity and sanctity of human life and marriage.
The Virginia Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment seeks to establish a state constitutional “right” to the murder of preborn babies in abortion and IVF, as well as a right to contraception. It also seeks to expand Virginia’s already demonic abortion laws to include abortion at any stage of development and for any reason. Additionally, the Virginia Remove Constitutional Same-Sex Marriage Ban Amendment hopes that voters will vote in favor of removing marriage in the state constitution as between one man and one woman. This amendment would include marriage as a right between any consenting adult, regardless of sex and gender.
We have created free resources, including ballot flyers, talking points, and articles, to download and distribute to your family and friends in the commonwealth. We are also attending upcoming parish events to educate parishioners on what is happening in Virginia and how we can combat it. To contact one of our speakers to come to your parish, please visit the link here.
Please visit our Save Virginia Campaign page now for more information. Then share it with those you know in Virginia. We must vote NO to these amendments and save the commonwealth from further expansion of the culture of death.
Stay tuned to upcoming editions of PLTW: We will have more information on the other states facing similar ballot measures and our efforts to defeat them.

VIDEO: ‘Pro-Life’ Candidate Running for Senate Fumbles Question about Ending Abortion
Primary season is about to conclude, and Election Day will come soon after. This means that political action committees, both pro-abortion and pro-life, are putting their names behind candidates who they believe align with their values. The problem with pro-life endorsements is that you never know when that pick might say something you later regret.
Darline Graham is seeking to fill the US Senate seat left vacant by the death of her brother, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. When asked if she would support a ban on the killing of preborn children starting from the moment of their procreation, Graham responded:
🚨 Caught on camera: When asked if she’d support a conception ban on abortion, @DarlineGrahamSC responded, “I don’t know. Let me think about it.” Say what?!? You don’t know?!?

Question: What is your opinion on abortion? Are you for exceptions? Are you for . . . just, where do you stand?
Graham: I support the six-week South Carolina abortion ban.
Question: What about before that. What if they would do a completely (sic) abolition of it?
Graham: I don’t know. Let me think about it. Yeah.
If you find the answer shocking, consider that many Republicans favor “a minimum standard” to preborn child killing rather than its complete criminalization. Unfortunately, politicians like Graham can’t provide clear answers until they’ve reviewed the policies of the PACs that feed them.
She hasn’t asked her handlers if she can agree to that.

Oh Darlene. Wrong answer
— ATCH (@ATCH0951) August 19, 2026
It ought to be a simple answer. If you believe that a preborn child at every stage of development is a human being worthy of protection, then “I don’t know” shouldn’t even register. The answer is “Yes . . . because we’re talking about little people.”
This is deeply concerning.

She's 62 years old. How much longer does she need to think about it?
