As a longtime Catholic author, political activist and advisor to President George W. Bush, Hudson will speak on human personhood in the context of Catholic Social Teaching.
WHY: In the last year, human personhood efforts have swept the nation as a radically re-ingnited movement for human rights for the human person from his or her beginning of biological development. Eight states have formally launched human personhood amendment campaigns to their state constitutions and dozens more are organizing initiatives of varying degrees – from education of the public to state legislatures to amendments to state constitutions. The Human Personhood Conference at American Life League’s TAW will bring together leaders who look to establish human rights for all human beings because, contrary to NARAL Pro-Choice America’s scare tactics, the fact is every human being deserves equal rights under the law and in the culture.
American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to death.
