American Life League’s Monthly Emails Provide the Latest Updates on Your Charitable Giving 

American Life League’s Charity Watchlist is a free online tool that provides information on 501(c)(3) charities and where they stand on abortion, contraception, IVF/ART, human embryonic stem cell research, cloning, and advocacy of LGBTQ+ lifestyles.

Many big-name organizations use donor gifts to support these offenses against life and family, often without the donor’s knowledge. That’s why American Life League not only relaunched the Charity Watchlist in 2023 but now offers monthly email updates about these charities reviewed and added to the list. 

Using a red, yellow, and green rating system, ALL provides information on whether an organization supports any of the offenses against life mentioned above (red rating), if an organization rejects offenses against life and states its pro-life values, mission, and works (green rating), or if certain policy positions cannot be verified at this time (yellow rating). 

Now with our new CWL email list, you can receive the latest updates on new charities reviewed for the watchlist. Our December email highlighted four charities that you can find on our green list and that are worthy of pro-life support. December’s Charity Watchlist updates include:

Over 200 College Students Gather to Pray in Front of Abortion Facility

The College Fix recently reported that more than 200 students from Christendom College’s Shield of Roses club traveled over an hour from Front Royal, Virginia, to Falls Church to be prayerful witnesses in front of an abortion facility. 

The club hosted its annual “Mega Shield” event, which invites more students than usual to pray at the facility. The club also hosts a weekly prayer outside the facility. 

“Mega Shield is an opportunity to make clear what we stand for as a Christendom community,” Thomas Cahill, the club’s president, told The College Fix. “We are a Catholic college, and we see being pro-life and pro-family at the heart of our identity as Catholics.”

“We see the abortion issue as a primarily spiritual battle,” Cahill continued. “The most important thing that we can do to change hearts and minds, then, is pray for conversions.”

This event is inspiring, and the club’s witness brings so much hope for the younger generation. 

Christendom’s Shield of Roses Club is very similar to ALL’s Marian Blue Wave, which invites people to pray a weekly rosary for an end to all abortion. Half of the MBW prayer partners pray in front of facilities, and the other half pray in their homes or with church groups. 

These two groups are rooted in the fact that abortion is a spiritual battle. 

The MBW now boasts over 10,000 prayer partners, with more joining every day. Since the program’s creation, its members have collectively prayed over three million rosaries for an end to abortion and have watched more than 100 Planned Parenthood facilities close, including the largest facility in Texas, which the group prayed specifically for in 2021.

The article shares Susan’s interview with the author of a new book that discusses the power of the rosary. She also wrote an article about the evangelical spirit of St. Francis Xavier. It was published on Catholic365.

ALL’s national director Katie Brown Xavios regularly posts updates about American Life League and its important work on social media channels X and LinkedIn. Follow her accounts to stay up to date.
