Rock for Life Kicks Off Nationwide Summer Tour

Washington, D.C. (15 June 2009) –American Life League’s Rock for Life Summer Festivals Tour will travel over 12,000 miles and deliver the message of life to hundreds of thousands of teens and young adults this summer.

Starting today and ending September 23, a team of passionately pro-life young people will travel from Virginia to Washington State, to promote human rights for all people – born and preborn.  They will witness at 14 music festivals, hundreds of concerts and dozens of activism events; will distribute thousands of items of pro-life educational material and pro-life gear; and will recruit thousands of young people to join Rock for Life’s mission to save its generation.

Each year, Rock for Life sends a group of young pro-life activists, from various areas of the country, to educate their peers on the horror of abortion. But this year is particularly important, according to Erik Whittington, Rock for Life’s director. “With the radically pro-abortion Obama administration attempting to convert youth to the culture of death, it’s critical that we raise up pro-life warriors from the abortion survivors’ generation,” he said. “The youth are increasingly willing to counter the cultural revolution of their parents’ generation, and defend the human rights of every human being from his or her biological beginning.”
