Planned Parenthood: Corporate Carnage for Profit

WASHINGTON, DC – In response to efforts by the abortion industry to downplay the “House of Horrors” abortion murder trial, American Life League, the oldest Catholic pro-life group in the nation, released a new video report, “Planned Parenthood’s Corporate Carnage,” demonstrating that abortionist Kermit Gosnell is not an isolated incident.

“A major spin campaign is underway by Planned Parenthood to whitewash the truth about the abortion industry and paint Kermit Gosnell as an exception. The facts prove that Gosnell is no different than Planned Parenthood,” said Jim Sedlak, vice president at ALL. “Almost simultaneous to Planned Parenthood’s public relations campaign condemning Gosnell and distancing itself, its own lobbyist was testifying that Planned Parenthood believes babies born alive can be left to die. Furthermore, its employees in Delaware were blowing the whistle about botched abortions and filthy, unsafe conditions that were so bad that the Planned Parenthood abortuary had to be shut down—-at least temporarily.”

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in America. Its latest annual report reveals that it committed over 332,000 abortions last year and received half of its $1 billion dollar budget from government subsidies at taxpayer expense.

“Because of its ability to fund candidates’ campaigns, Planned Parenthood has political allies right up to the oval office as well as a friendly media that help it shield the true nature of its income and business from public scrutiny,” added Sedlak. “This ALL Report helps people understand that maiming and death—-corporate carnage for profit—-is as common at Planned Parenthood as it is across the abortion industry.”
