National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day to Take Place Friday

Washington, DC–This Friday, April 22, Life Defenders, American Life League’s pro-life young adult organization, will hold its annual National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day. Thousands of pro-life youth are expected to join in the event, wearing T-shirts with pro-life messages in public settings such as schools and shopping malls.  Twenty-three cosponsoring organizations, including Operation Rescue and Priests for Life, will also participate.

Emily Brown, director of ALL Life Defenders, stated, “We have thousands of participants standing up for life by simply wearing their favorite pro-life T-shirts. What I love most about this day is that anyone, even the most shy among us, can defend human beings’ lives by wearing a pro-life T-shirt. Imagine the national impact we could make if every pro-lifer out there wore his or her pro-life shirt on April 22!”

We encourage participants to take a photo in their shirt and post it on Facebook or Instagram with #NPLTD16. Life Defenders is also offering a limited edition shirt specifically for this year’s event at lifedefender.org/npltday/.
