Little Sisters of the Poor Finally Victorious

For Immediate Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. (8 July 2020) – In a resounding 7-2 decision, the United States Supreme Court finally set to rest the pro-abortion effort to force the Little Sisters of the Poor to cover abortion-causing drugs and devices in the health insurance coverage they provide. American Life League president Judie Brown released the following statement regarding this landmark victory:

This is a victory for truth, justice, and Catholic teaching!

The Church has long taught the dangers of artificial means of preventing pregnancy, and the Little Sisters of the Poor uphold those teachings in every aspect of their work. Of all people to be pressured by the abortion lobby, the nuns were the most outrageous class of Americans for the pro-aborts to attack. But as we know, bloodthirsty abortion proponents care little about the religious or the faith itself.

We congratulate the Little Sisters of the Poor and commend the Supreme Court justices who placed truth and common sense above politics.
