American Life League Welcomes New Group to its Nationwide Network of Associates

Washington, D.C. (09 May 2008) – American Life League – the nation’s largest pro-life educational organization – is proud to welcome the Peace, Justice & Human Life Committee of the Pontifical College Josephinum as the newest member of American Life League’s Associate Program. The Pontifical College Josephinum, located in Columbus, Ohio, is an international seminary that prepares men for the Catholic priesthood.

"We are very happy that we will now be able to bring our pro-life message to Ohio through our collaboration with the Peace, Justice & Human Life Committee," said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. "As we fight to restore dignity and personhood for all human beings on a national level, it is of paramount importance that we continue our grassroots efforts on the local level as well. We look forward to working with this new group until the culture of death has been defeated in Ohio and ultimately our entire nation."

The Peace, Justice & Human Life Committee seeks to protect and preserve innocent human life from the beginning of biological development until death through prayer and public education. According to David Dufresne, the Committee’s secretary, this new collaboration means its best efforts are yet to come. "American Life League is the nation’s premier organization working to end abortion and establish a true culture of life in our country. We are excited to join their nationwide family and look forward to working with them for a very long time to come," said Mr. Dufresne.

The addition of the Peace, Justice & Human Life Committee brings the number of American Life League’s Associate groups to 93. Many different states in the U.S., as well as Canada and Africa, are now represented in American Life League’s growing Associate Program.

The Peace, Justice & Human Life Committee joins American Life League in its mission to "build a society that respects and protects innocent human life from creation to death, without compromise, without exception, without apology."

American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to death.
