Elizabeth Ministry Brings Encouragement, Hope, and Healing to Women
American Life League welcomed the 126th member to its Associate program this week. Elizabeth Ministry International is a movement offering encouragement, hope, and healing on issues related to childbearing, sexuality, and relationships.
Judie Brown, president of American Life League, stated,
Elizabeth Ministry International brings a lot to the table in the pro-life movement. At American Life League, we realize and understand the importance of recognizing the grief experienced by families as a result of miscarriage or stillbirth. EMI is a shining example of upholding the dignity of both mother and child in their important work. We are proud to call them Associates. We look forward to increased collaboration in the future.
When asked why EMI decided to join American Life League’s Associate program, EMI founder Jeannie Hannemann explained:
American Life League has led the way in the pro-life movement. Our staff has always been interested in the efforts of ALL. We frequently utilize information from the ALL website. When we published our Pastoral Guide on Miscarriage, Stillbirth, and Newborn Loss, ALL contacted us to create methods for collaboration in this much needed aspect of pro-life work. EMI was invited to become an ALL Associate. It is an honor to do so.
Elizabeth Ministry International’s Pastoral Guide is an excellent resource for parishes to be able to offer support to families who have experienced the loss of a child. ALL is excited to partner with Elizabeth Ministry International through our Associate program to make this important resource more readily available to families in need of this crucial support.
