American Life League Statement on the 2016 US Presidential Election

Washington, DC — American Life League president Judie Brown issued the following statement on the upcoming 2016 US presidential election:

This year’s presidential election is becoming crazier by the day. It would appear that both of the major presidential candidates are flawed human beings. This, of course, is not surprising, as we are all flawed. There is no perfect person who could run for any elected office in our country.

American Life League does not endorse or oppose specific candidates. At this time in the presidential election, we wish to remind everyone that the results of this election could make the difference in future Supreme Court nominees, in the laws that are passed, and in the programs that may or may not be funded. We urge all voters to closely examine the position of all candidates—including the presidential and vice presidential candidates of all parties—regarding abortion.

There are those who are talking about sitting out this election. I ask you not to do that. We are the only voice that preborn babies have; we are Americans who hold our right to vote among the most important of our freedoms in this nation. So please go to the polls and vote for those persons whom you believe will do the most GOOD for the preborn, rather than harm.

We know that God is in charge and that these babies belong to Him alone. Let us do our part to exercise our freedoms on behalf of God’s children. And, please, pray for our nation.
