American Life League president Judie Brown issued the following statement upon learning of the death of Dr. Jerry Falwell:
On behalf of all our American Life League supporters I mourn the passing of one of our dearest friends, Dr. Jerry Falwell. From the earliest days of American Life League's existence, Dr. Falwell lent his name, his support and his counsel to much of what we did then and continue to do today. Dr. Falwell inspired and supported our first efforts to expose Planned Parenthood in 1980. Through the years, he continued to support our work, as we did his many ventures into educating the public with regard to the evil of abortion.
We will miss our dear friend, Dr. Jerry Falwell, but will never forget his courage and dedication to God's Word.
