Life Defenders is launching #SeeDignity in people with disabilities this Saturday, December 3. If you believe people with disabilities have dignity (and we know you do), then take to social media and show how much you love and appreciate them. Too often people with mental or physical disabilities are perceived as burdens who have little or no contribution to society. This is wicked thinking. We know them to be the same as everyone else.
If there is someone in your life who has a disability, please share a photo of yourself with him or her on Facebook and/or Instagram, and tag the photo with #SeeDignity. We want to demonstrate to everyone how amazing life can be when we share it with someone with a disability.
