Worthless Bodies in a Wicked World: Hodari Pays No Price

On March 20th I wrote about the Lathrop Village, Michigan police investigation of the abortionist whose Dumpster became newsworthy when the body parts of aborted children were found by a group of heroic pro-life activists.  Well, it seems that the investigation is now over and the killer of preborn children has been exonerated—almost entirely!

Recent news reported that Hodari will have to retrain his workers about how to properly dispose of waste because state investigators found that the clinic workers had violated medical waste rules.

No fines were levied against the facility.

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality plans a follow-up inspection on April 3.

And that, my friends, is all that is going to be done about it!  It will be business as usual; the killing will continue without even a moment’s hesitation, reflection or recrimination.

I want to make sure that you actually see the picture I am seeing in my mind’s eye as I reflect on the travesty of justice that has been carried out in Lathrop Village, Michigan. The "medical waste" is comprised of the legs, feet, hands and other body parts torn from the bodies of preborn children, each of whom was methodically murdered in a state-approved facility that is described in some quarters as a woman’s health care clinic.

Visions of the gas chambers of Poland, Germany and elsewhere come to mind. Recall the photos of heaps of bodies tossed aside with the rubble.

Hodari’s WomanCare Clinic regards children who reside within the wombs of their mothers as trash and disposes of them without remorse in the same way you might toss out an orange rind or a dirty paper towel. Garbage—that is how these children’s remains are being treated in this place. Nothing more than a slap on the wrist was given to the proprietor, even when the evidence of what is being done there could not be clearer or more graphic.

Visions of the war in Iraq or the bloody conflicts in Africa come to mind. But the victims I see in my vision are little chidren, innocent in every way. It is their own parents who are pursuing them with a will to kill.

I cannot stand the thought of this tragedy, but I must remember it frequently so that I am constantly reminded of why we struggle so desperately to save these babies and their mothers from this horrible fate.

It is no overstatement to claim that this war being waged against preborn children in the United States of America is far worse than any atrocity ever perpetrated against humankind in the past. In fact, it is much more tragic and far more dastardly in every respect. The "enemy" in this war is a baby; the weapons of choice are the very same implements that can save life in a surgical suite down the road; the mentality that excuses such acts under cover of law is so gravely disordered that it boggles the mind.

If you ever questioned the reasons why the Lord God has called you to this battle and given you the gifts needed to fight on, use your imagination. You’ll never question it again.
