True Pro Life Candidates

It is always refreshing to read a secular commentator's view of what the difference is between consistent principle and political incrementalism. Richard LeBoeuf has written such an article comparing Congressman Bob Inglis' (R-S.C.) position on abortion with that of an opponent, John Corbin.

The key quote is: ""Based on his platform, I think Bob [Inglis] meant to say, "It's not a mass of tissue, it's a child deserving protection — unless its father was a rapist, in which case it deserves no protection. Let's think clearly about life, and let's protect it — unless its father was incestuous, in which case iit dserves no protection."

Logical and oh so correct. Bravo, Mr. LeBoeuf.
