Ripley has nothing on Florida

Abortionist James Scott Pendergraft plies his trade at various clinics in Florida. In 2005 a complaint was filed against him on behalf of a woman whose baby was born alive after an abortion. The complaint alleged inhumane treatment. The reason: when the baby was born alive, the mother cried out for help; no one came. She begged the nurses to call 911; they refused. As she held her 23 week old son in her arms, and ran to get her cell phone, her son died.

Pendergraft also spent time in jail for extortion before his conviction on that matter was overturned.

The Florida Board of Medicine considered revoking Pendergraft’s license. Instead they dismissed the case; no disciplinary action was taken.
