Planned Parenthood seems to be returning to its roots, so to speak. Get this from Jim Sedlak, director of American Life League's STOPP International:
Through July 2005, the first sentence of the organizational description that appeared at the bottom of every Planned Parenthood press releases read: "Planned Parenthood Federation of America is the nation's largest and most trusted voluntary reproductive health organization."
Then, beginning with an August 2, 2005 release, the first sentence was changed to read: "Planned Parenthood Federation of America is the nation's leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider."
This new description continues to appear on every PPFA press release.
Margaret Sanger would be proud of this new emphasis on the sexual matters, particularly in view of the fact that Planned Parenthood continues to build its own client base by assuring children as young as ten that sex between two consenting people is perfectly OK!
