New Associate Group, Life Connections, Wants to Save Babies in Arizona

Washington, D.C. (10 August 2010) – The newest American Life League Associate group, Life Connections Pregnancy Resource and Referral Center in Prescott, Arizona, exists with three goals in mind, according to Director Diane Duncan: Close Planned Parenthood’s doors in Prescott, speak the truth in love and save babies.

“These are goals we wholeheartedly approve, support and encourage,” said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. “We extend a big welcome to Life Connections, and we look forward to working with them so that each new human being, created by God, is loved, nurtured and protected.”

Life Connections serves as a life-affirming alternative for teens and young adults targeted for abortion by Planned Parenthood. The organization reaches out through sidewalk counseling, prayer ministry, Rachel’s Vineyard post-abortion healing retreats and Silent No More Awareness campaigns. It plans on offering free pregnancy testing, educational materials, counseling, and classes on natural family planning and chastity.

American Life League’s Associate Program is a network of pro-life groups dedicated to the recognition of every human being as a person from his or her biological beginning. As a member of the Associate Program, Life Connections joins over 100 other organizations in over 40 states, Canada, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and the Philippines.

American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to death.  For more information or press inquiries, please contact Katie Walker at 540.659.4942.
