I recently read that prominent black leaders said they would work to combat Christian conservatives. These leaders, including Al Sharpton, Jesse jackson and others, argue that "conservatives" have used gay marriage and abortion to distract from "larger" moral issues such as the war, voting rights, affirmative action and poverty.
What? If these men, some of whom are ministers, do not believe that the act of murdering an innocent preborn baby is not the largest moral problem in the nation today, then I have to ask you — which Bible are they reading?
All along I thought the Ten Commandments applied across the board — to every person of every political persuasion. Hmmm …
