Recently Oneida County Right to Life protested a reception parishoners of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church hosted for pro-abortion Catholic Congressman-elect Michael Arcuri.
In Arcuri's response, we see the moral relativism which Pope Benedict XVI has frequently pointed out. Arcuri said,
I'm sad that people from that organization feel it's necessary to criticize anyone who doesn't view issues the same as they do. I am pro-choice. I am Roman Catholic. That's my religion, and that's my position on an issue. People can say what they want. I don't find the two to be inconsistent.
Say what? Let us pray for Arcuri.
