ALL’s Map Room Project Tracks Protests Against Planned Parenthood in 40 States

Washington, D.C. (20 October 2010) – American Life League is celebrating an all-time high in the number of tracked protests at Planned Parenthood facilities across the country.

Pro-lifers are now conducting 279 protests at 203 Planned Parenthood facilities in 40 states and Washington, D.C., according to data collected by ALL and displayed in the ALL Map Room.

Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest abortion chain, and there are now regular protests at one of every four Planned Parenthood facilities in the United States.

The interactive Map Room, part of ALL’s Stop Planned Parenthood International (STOPP) project, encourages physical presence outside Planned Parenthood facilities, tracks protests and provides information on times, locations and contact persons.

“The real fight against Planned Parenthood happens at the community level,” said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. “It takes a community, on the ground, outspokenly fighting Planned Parenthood, to kick this vile abortion business out of town.”

The efforts listed in the Map Room are coordinated by each local community. As the national group focused on grassroots efforts to defeat Planned Parenthood, American Life League brings the data together to encourage pro-lifers all across the country to protest at every local Planned Parenthood facility.

American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to death.  For more information or press inquiries, please contact Katie Walker at 540.659.4942.
