1. Government funds are its highest source of income.
Removing Planned Parenthood’s precious government money would be a crushing blow for the baby killing machine. The graph below, taken directly from Planned Parenthood’s annual report, demonstrates that government money is its highest source of revenue. Consequently, removing every penny of the 554.6 million dollars would indeed hurt Planned Parenthood.
2. Facilities will close.
With the potential loss of 554.6 million dollars in government funds, Planned Parenthood will have no choice but to close down facilities. This summer 13 baby killing facilities will shut down. If Planned Parenthood is defunded, that number will continue to grow.
3. Women will explore other options.
Women are misled to believe that Planned Parenthood is their only option, when in reality there are 10 health clinics for every one Planned Parenthood. With the Planned Parenthood locations dwindling, more women will be encouraged to go to the other centers that assist pregnant women, yet that do not perform abortions. More people will take the time to learn and support options such as adoption and becoming a birth mother. They will also learn the truth about abortion, birth control, and pills such as Plan B, which all greatly affect women and can end the life of their child.
4. More support will go toward pregnancy help centers.
When more and more facilities close, women will turn to pregnancy help centers, which provide the same, if not more, services as Planned Parenthood, yet these places do not kill babies! Plus, unlike Planned Parenthood, these centers are known for encouraging counseling and being personable. We truly do not need Planned Parenthood.
5. Babies will live!
If the government defunds Planned Parenthood, babies’ lives will be saved. Mothers will turn to actual health clinics that can help them through their pregnancies.
Helping women and saving lives is why we fight so hard for the end of Planned Parenthood. Every day, Planned Parenthood slaughters over 1,000 innocent babies. We cannot sit here in silence.
Life Defenders urges everyone reading this to pick up the phone and call your House representative. If you do not know your representative’s name, use this site to find him. Then call and urge him to push for the defunding of Planned Parenthood. With all of us together speaking out for the innocent, we will soon see a day when Planned Parenthood no longer exists.
