PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The wife of a disgraced doctor on Tuesday admitted performing an illegal late-term abortion at her husband’s clinic, a now-shuttered facility that authorities described as a filthy “house of horrors” where newborns were routinely murdered. Pearl Gosnell, 50, of Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to performing an abortion after 24 weeks of pregnancy, two counts of conspiracy and participating in a corrupt organization, according to court documents.
