Hannity's America exposes another Planned Parenthood rape cover-up

This past weekend, Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt of Hannity's America exposed Planned Parenthood's racist agenda and an Ohio statutory rape case where a 21-year-old soccer coach forced a 14-year-old girl to have an abortion and Planned Parenthood failed to notify the girl's parents.

The young girl was 13 when the sexual relationship began with her coach. The coach then forced her to have the abortion shortly after her 14th birthday. The girl's family sued PP in 2004 for negligence and the case has now reached the Ohio Supreme Court. It will rule on whether the family can have access to the clinic's medical records for women under age 18.

It is against the law for PP to not obtain parental consent for an abortion in the state of Ohio. We reported on this case in 2007. This same PP affiliate has been sued for another case of failure to report statutory rape. In November 2004, the father of a 16-year-old girl forced her to have an abortion at a Cincinnati PP clinic. The girl says she told a PP employee that her father was forcing her to have sex. However, PP did not report the abuse and the father continued raping the girl for another year and a half.

PP must be stopped. Young girls are being raped and then forced to have abortions at these PP facilities! PP is not reporting such cases, more innocent young children are being murdered and the young girls involved continue to experience yet more tragedy.

What can you do? Here are some steps you can take:

FOCUS – While continuing all of your other efforts against PP, every organization fighting PP should identify one person who will focus on the child predator issue.

KNOW – Get the background information on this effort at Child Predators and be prepared to answer questions. Your organization should also know the mandatory child abuse reporting laws in your state. Every state has them.

RESEARCH – Find out about the PP facilities in your area. How many customers under the age of 15 does it claim to have? How many reports has it filed with the authorities about the sexual activities of these customers? If you need help getting this information, just send us an e-mail at stopp@all.org.

FUNDING – Find out if your local PP clinic gets funds from Title X or other government programs. All of these programs require that PP adhere to all state-level mandatory reporting rules. If PP is not reporting, it will not only lose all future funds, but it will also have to pay back funds already received.

TAKE ACTION – Based on what you find out, take action to bring Planned Parenthood to justice. Among the things you should do are the following:

  • Document your findings in a report that can be given out to interested persons.
  • Educate your local community through press releases, press conferences, letters to the editor and fliers.
  • In light of the increasing evidence of PP's involvement nationwide in protecting rapists, ask your local district attorney to investigate your local PP to ensure that it is properly reporting abuse.
  • Ask the government agencies that fund PP to thoroughly audit your local PP to ensure that it is complying with all mandatory reporting requirements.
  • If your local PP clinic receives Title X funding (you can see the list of Title X recipients by state), ask your members of Congress to request that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to conduct an audit.
  • Inform parents in your area that if they find out that their under-age children are receiving contraceptives or abortions at PP, they may be able to file a report. Send them to Parental Alert.

Oregon Planned Parenthood recruiting customers for planned killing center

While Planned Parenthood is moving ahead with its plans to build a killing center in a predominantly Black neighborhood, Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette has already indoctrinated 27 girls from three northeast Portland high schools through a new program called SiHLE, which stands for Sistas Informing, Healing, Living, and Empowering. According to PP, this program offers "specialized training and education to reduce risky sex behavior among African-American adolescent females."

What PP is really doing is trying to recruit future customers for the facility it plans to build in Portland. As we've mentioned in a previous WSR,

Planned Parenthood wants to move and enlarge their headquarters and abortion center from an area in southeast Portland with a Black population of about 1% and place it in the King neighborhood that has a Black population of about 43%. Portland only has an overall population of about 6% Blacks. Planned Parenthood will reduce this number even more with their new facility.

Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette has partnered with the Multnomah County Health Department and Cascade AIDS Project to brainwash our young people in the Portland area. Using the SiHLE program, PP plans to "continue to conduct workshops with more Portland African-American girls through future sessions." It also states that "SiHLE will train female African-American community and school educators in north and northeast Portland to conduct the program themselves."

This is how PP works: It goes after teens so that they will come into their clinics and purchase its birth control products. When the birth control fails, PP will abort the young girls' preborn babies. This is a baby-killing business. PP attempts to indoctrinate our young people so that it will trust PP for birth control and abortions. We must stop PP from corrupting our nation. Get involved with the Precious Children of Portland and spread the word in your community because if there is a PP in your town, chances are that it intends to get programs like this into your schools if it hasn't done so already.

Jim's report from Oregon

From April 4 through April 14, American Life League vice president Jim Sedlak was on a speaking tour in Oregon. All of Jim's talks were focused on Planned Parenthood and the harm it does to society.

As the trip began, Jim gave three workshops at the Oregon Right to Life conference in Eugene. This was a vibrant conference, with many motivated people who were eager to learn about PP, including some folks from Florence, Oregon. There is a PP clinic in Florence and pro-lifers there are anxious to begin fighting against it. Jim also traveled to Florence and met for several hours with local pro-life leaders to discuss strategy.

The second phase of Jim's trip took place in the Portland area, where Bill Diss is leading local pro-lifers in trying to stop PP from building a 45,000-square-foot abortion mill in a heavily Black area of the city. While in the Portland area, Jim recorded three cable television shows, spoke to the Knights of Columbus Council 678's regular meeting, joined a regular weekly picket at a PP abortion mill, gave a major presentation to Precious Children of Portland activists, met with Portland State University's pro-life group to discuss strategies for fighting PP and countering its on-campus VOX group and preached on the evils of PP at the Pentecostal Ukrainian Bible Church's weekly services.

Jim also met with McMinnville pro-lifers to help them devise a strategy against the local PP, was interviewed by Christian News Northwest about his efforts in Oregon and the success people are having against PP in various areas of the country, gave a presentation at St. Mary Church in Eugene on how to fight PP there and met with members of Life Support to discuss an effort to stop PP tax funding in Oregon.

The Oregon speaking trip is one of several that Jim does each year. If you would like Jim to come to your state for a single talk or an extended speaking tour, as he did in Oregon, just e-mail him at jsedlak@all.org and he will be happy to work out the details with you.

Marie's report from Florida

The following report is from Marie Hahnenberg, researcher and director of ALL's Map Room: Activism Against Planned Parenthood. She had the opportunity to meet some amazing pro-lifers in Ocala, Florida this past weekend.

I was asked to represent Judie Brown and give her talk on the message of hope in the pro-life movement. I was honored to have such an opportunity and it was so encouraging to see over 200 men and women attend this event. They were full of passion and determination to end abortion in our country. I also had the honor of meeting some of the local pro-lifers, including Mabel Ryan and Gail Zach, and Jim Styer, one of our protesters who protests outside of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Sarasota, Florida.

On Saturday morning, I joined them in prayer outside of an abortion clinic and it was great to see so many pro-lifers outside in the sun there for the babies and the mothers. According to one of the pro-lifers, there was one save before I arrived. I'd like to thank all of the wonderful people in Ocala for such an enjoyable experience. We are here for any support you need. Continue the fight to save lives. God bless you!

Marie is available to speak at events around the country. To make arrangements for her to come to your town, e-mail her at mhahnenberg@all.org.

Protesting outside of clinics really works

The following letter was given to a woman who participated in the fall 2007 40 Days for Life campaign. This was written by a pastor in Rhode Island and can be found on the 40 Days for Life web site:

Joanne,

Please share this with the sidewalk crew:

I just had dinner with a young man whom I had not seen in over a year. It seems that he and his girlfriend visited Planned Parenthood a few months back. He said they passed through the people on the sidewalk quietly protesting as they went into the clinic.

They sat in a room with about a dozen other young girls, mostly with their moms, he thought. He was the only guy there. She was handed a clip board, he was ignored.

She filled out the information requested then they sat without speaking for several minutes. As he looked around the room, no one spoke.

He said all he could think about were the people outside on the sidewalk. He turned to her and at the same time she looked at him. Without speaking, they both got up and walked out.

He said the people outside cheered for them as they headed to their car.

I will be baptizing their son in a couple of months. Thank you for all you do!

Fr. Codega

This is just one example of how important witnessing outside of Planned Parenthood facilities is. Please consider starting a protest in your area or join one, if there is already one scheduled. Visit our web site at www.all.org/stopp/maps and help save lives.
