Planned Parenthood's 2006-2007 Annual Report
Planned Parenthood Federation of America has just released its 2006-2007 Annual Report. The report shows that PP has killed 289,750 preborn babies and had a total income of over $1 billion. These numbers again mark an increase over the previous year.
In 2005-2006, PP reported killing 264,943 preborn babies. This year, PP killed 24,807 more babies. It claims to be reducing pregnancy; yet one out of every four abortions in the United States is committed at a Planned Parenthood facility.
PP received $356.9 million in clinic income, $258.7 million from private donations and a whopping $336.7 million of our own tax dollars. It had a total profit of $114.8 million.
The $356.9 million in clinic income comes from the sale of over 1,400,000 Emergency Contraception Kits, over 2,500,000 customers for its birth control products, the killing of over 289,700 preborn babies and other clinic sales. This total clinic income is an $11.8 million increase over the 2005-2006 figure.
The private donations have increased by $46.5 million and our very own government gave Planned Parenthood $31.4 million more for the 2006-2007 fiscal year.
In effect, $114 million of taxpayer money went right into Planned Parenthood's savings account. It is clear that PP does not need all of this money. Taxpayer money represents 33 percent of Planned Parenthood's income.
We must stop the flow of government money into the hands of this baby-killing business. Sign the petition at www.StopPlannedParenthoodTaxFunding.com to demand that Planned Parenthood does not receive any more money from our pockets.

Planned Parenthood's death toll
As we've reported above, Planned Parenthood admitted to murdering 289,750 preborn babies. This is a 9.4 percent increase over its 2005 killing numbers. It is the highest year-to-year increase in Planned Parenthood's abortion business since 1996 and the third highest in its history.
Planned Parenthood now kills 5,572 innocent human beings every week. This means that, every week, PP kills twice as many innocent human beings as died in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
This year's death toll brings the total number of babies who have died at Planned Parenthood facilities to 4,358,499.
We must stop this holocaust! Write to your member of Congress to tell him/her to oppose giving taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood. This killing must stop!
Facts to include in your letters to the editor
As you may know, writing letters to the editor is an effective way to let your voice be heard. We encourage all of our readers to spread the truth in your community. Feel free to use any information from our Wednesday STOPP Reports and especially the statements below, which are based on Planned Parenthood's own 2006-2007 annual report:
One out of every four abortions is committed in a Planned Parenthood facility.
Planned Parenthood refers one baby for adoption for every 120 babies it murders.
Planned Parenthood has killed over four million innocent human beings through a "procedure" called abortion.
Planned Parenthood has total assets of $1.12 billion.
Taxpayers gave Planned Parenthood $336.7 million in 2006. This is an increase of $31.4 million from 2005.
Planned Parenthood put $114 million of taxpayer money right into its savings account.
Taxpayer money represents 33% of Planned Parenthood's income.
Planned Parenthood's total profit doubled from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, it had a profit of $114.8 million.
Five years of Planned Parenthood data available
If you are interested in receiving information from Planned Parenthood's annual reports of the past five years, American Life League can provide a one-page document of detailed statistical data on this period, free of charge. All you need to do is send an e-mail to stopp@all.org with "PP Analysis" in the subject line and we will be sure to get it out to you.
National Pro-life T-shirt Day: April 29
American Life League's sixth annual National Pro-Life T-shirt Day is April 29. We encourage people of all ages to participate in this day by wearing either the official 2008 shirt or one from a previous year. It is a key part of our effort to end abortion by achieving the recognition of personhood from the moment of each person's creation.
In order to raise awareness, we need to have people out in public who will convey this message. We must stand up and proclaim that this tragedy cannot be allowed to continue. For some, that may involve protesting in front of a Planned Parenthood facility.
