Pornography producer endorses Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood now has support from the pornography industry. Perhaps Planned Parenthood did not ask David Pounder, a pornography producer and actor, to speak on its behalf, but he has, regardless. Pounder's endorsement makes it even more obvious that Planned Parenthood pushes pornography to children and encourages promiscuous sexual activity.
Penny Starr, of Cybercast News Service, wrote a second article on Planned Parenthood's Teenwire web site when Pounder contacted CNSNews.com about her first one, "Planned Parenthood Web Site Promotes Porn to Teens."
Pounder praised Planned Parenthood's website and encouraged young people to view pornography. "Planned Parenthood is an excellent organization that helps people by focusing on how people actually are behaving (i.e., having sex, watching porn, doing drugs, etc.), as opposed to helping people based on how they should be behaving (abstaining from sex, watching the news, eating healthy, etc.)," he said. "Men in their teens are accessing porn, and I think it's a normal thing."
Starr's article also mentions John Haney, a psychotherapist in Austin, Texas who has worked with many teens and adults who have compulsive sexual disorders. According to CNSNews.com, "he disagrees with Pounder that viewing pornography is a good way to learn about human sexuality." Instead, Haney believes that "viewing pornography also gives teens - especially young girls - an unrealistic and even destructive way of viewing themselves and their sexuality."
Planned Parenthood's endorsement by a pornography producer and actor is yet another reason why we cannot have Planned Parenthood in our communities! An organization that promotes pornography and sexual activity to children is not an organization that anyone can trust. Take part in the fight and get Planned Parenthood out of your area. Planned Parenthood encourages sexual activity on spring break
Planned Parenthood was literally looking for customers last week as Planned Parenthood of North Central Florida hit the beaches with its sexual agenda. Planned Parenthood representatives strolled the beaches and barged into clubs and bars to pass out its own condoms to young people who were out on vacation. Natalie Muniz, Planned Parenthood of North Central Florida's education director, was out showing young people how to open condom packages. She said, "We're just trying to keep spring breakers healthy and happy."
However, this description of Planned Parenthood's activities couldn't be farther from the truth. A comment such as, "We're just trying to get more young people sexually active, so they will come to our clinics and be our customers," would be more accurate. Planned Parenthood is now so desperate to find new customers that it needs to go out to bars and beaches to find its prey.
Is Planned Parenthood soliciting young people?
Because of a Planned Parenthood postcard, a young person has now become more active in the pro-life movement. Here is an excerpt from an opinion piece by John Holley of Ironton, Minnesota that was published on PineandLakes.com:
Holley: Planned Parenthood unchained
What motivated my friend in the Twin Cities to participate in the March for Life pro-life rally on Jan. 22? Was it because her younger sister, a high school student, received an unsolicited postcard from an abortion clinic in Dakota County offering its services?
These postcards went to many juvenile females at her school listing various confidential services offered to her and her partner—if she has one. The clinic also advertised its gift shop with some products that promote sexual promiscuity, in my view.
When this student's mom called the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic to complain, they agreed to take her name off the mailing list. What list?
This should be a warning to all parents and young people across the country: Planned Parenthood does target teens and young adults. About 70 percent of its customer base is under the age of 25. Over a quarter are teenagers. However, Planned Parenthood loses 43 percent of its customers each year. That's why, every year, it tries to convince hundreds of thousands of young people to become new customers. We must do everything we can so that Planned Parenthood cannot find new customers and to shut this organization down!
Sacramento's Hope and Healing Prayer Vigil

2008 Feast of the Annunciation
The Feast of the Annunciation, traditionally celebrated on March 25, commemorates the archangel Gabriel's appearance to the Virgin Mary to bring God's message that she had been chosen to be the mother of the Son of God.
American Life League is encouraging individuals and groups to use the month of March to commemorate this feast with special activities. In addition, American Life League will be marking this day with a special Mass offered for the safe delivery of all preborn children in the womb. We want to pray specifically for as many children as possible that day. The feast is celebrated on March 31 this year because March 25 falls within the Octave of Easter.
Please click here to view a list of suggested activities from the booklet Life Is a Miracle and to add a mother and child to our Mass intention list for March 31.
Happy Easter!
This Sunday, Christians everywhere will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus was crucified, died and, three days later, rose from the dead. He did this for you and me. He did this for all of the preborn babies in the entire world. He did this for everyone.
American Life League wishes all of you a very blessed Easter. God bless you and your families!
