PP to give away emergency contraception to students as spring break nears
Planned Parenthood of Indiana has announced that from February 26 to April 8 it will hand out free emergency contraception at 10 of its 35 clinics. PP is timing this giveaway so that it will occur by the beginning of spring break at most colleges.
Emergency contraception—also known as the morning-after pill—is a high dosage of the birth control pill. It is recommended for use after sexual intercourse, over a 72-hour period, to prevent or end a pregnancy. That's right—emergency contraception can cause abortions too! Indiana Right to Life has been working hard to notify the young people in the area that this drug is an abortifacient. As reported in the South Bend Tribune, Mike Fichter, executive director of Indiana Right to Life, called PP's giveaway "irresponsible" and said, "They're giving kids a false sense of security for those who are potentially going to engage in risky sexual behavior."
PP, on the other hand, claims that emergency contraception is not abortifacient because it has the word "contraception" in its name.
We ask our pro-lifers in Indiana to team up with Indiana Right to Life to get the word out and to be outside of PP clinics on the days when they hand out these free emergency contraception kits. We have a regularly scheduled protest at the Bloomington PP clinic and ask more STOPPers to get involved, to help cover the other nine locations where the EC giveaway will take place.

Planned Parenthood promotes "Speaking of Sex" video podcast
To promote sexual promiscuity, Planned Parenthood sent two young adults to nine different locations over the summer to record footage of other PP supporters, titled "Sex on the Road: The Speaking of Sex Video Road Trip." The two individuals involved in this road trip have also recorded previous PP podcasts such as "The Anal Sex Show," "Sex Toys, Sex Joys," "Abortion: Exploring Choice" and "Five Things You Can Do to Support Planned Parenthood."
However, American Life League's youth outreach department, Rock for Life, also records podcasts and has been doing so since September 2006. The Rock for Life Podcast highlights the importance of chastity, abstinence and living a pro-life life with integrity. It gives its listeners updates on PP and information on how to defeat PP in our schools, communities and country.

Planned Parenthood continues preaching that babies are a nuisance
As we mentioned in the February 6 issue of the WSR, Planned Parenthood has been trying to target young women with its new line of condoms called "Proper Attire™: Required for Entry." PP is targeting young women with the message that babies are a nuisance. One such example is the inclusion of the following statement in the Proper Attire instructions leaflet: "Planned Parenthood believes that: Everyone has the right to choose when or whether to have a child. Every child should be wanted and loved. Every woman should be in charge of her destiny."
While reading these comments, you may realize that PP is brainwashing young people into thinking that babies are a problem. It is another tactic PP uses to get people to buy its birth control and abortion services.
It is pretty simple: Sex was created by God. He created sex for a married man and woman to become one and to procreate. PP, on the other hand, is once again trying to convince young people that it is OK to go against their conscience and moral code. Remember, Planned Parenthood wants young people to participate in premarital sex so it can get more money.
The following are the three locations where Planned Parenthood is selling its new Proper Attire™ condoms, all of which are in New York City: Wink - Soho Store, 155 Spring Street; W Hotels the Store, 541 Lexington Avenue; and W Hotels the Store, 1567 Broadway.
We encourage our STOPPers in New York to protest these stores and let them and Planned Parenthood know that we don't want their "business." We also need to remind our youth of these truths: Life begins at fertilization and Planned Parenthood is working very hard to eliminate our next generation.
Planned Parenthood luncheon in Kentucky
Planned Parenthood of Kentucky will be hosting a luncheon on Thursday, February 28 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Louisville Downtown Marriott. Cecile Richards will join the board of directors to discuss the recent merger of Planned Parenthood of the Bluegrass with Planned Parenthood of Louisville. We encourage the STOPPers in Kentucky to protest this event.
ALL produces another excellent video report
American Life League has produced another video report on the truth behind Planned Parenthood. This ALL Report is titled, "Planned Parenthood Kills for Profit." It describes some of the information reported in American Life League's 2007 Survey of Planned Parenthood Facilities. Check it out and let us know what you think!
Baby Steps DVD
A report sent by Sue Lopez from San Diego, California confirmed that one baby was saved outside of a Planned Parenthood and 23 other babies were saved at other abortion clinics during the month of January. Praise God!
God works through us and we encourage all of our readers to sincerely discern whether or not God is calling YOU to be a witness outside of a Planned Parenthood or other abortion clinic.
One resource you could use is something that we know has helped save many lives already. This is the 4-D ultrasound DVD called Baby Steps. Pro-lifers have shown this on portable DVD players outside of abortion clinics.

Number of protests continues to rise
