Planned Parenthood renews attack on Christians

It is really incredible. Year after year, Planned Parenthood takes direct aim at Christians and the celebration of the birth of our Savior. The first year PP might have been able to say that it was not aware of how insulted Christians would be at Planned Parenthood's Choice on Earth holiday cards. But it has been many years now, and every year PP renews its attack.

Planned Parenthood has made the 2007 version of its holiday cards available on its web site, featuring four designs of its Choice on Earth cards.

With these holiday cards, Planned Parenthood is trying to turn the celebration of the birth of our Lord into a celebration of the death of millions of babies. We implore every Christian in this nation to expose this attack on Christians and we ask every Christian pastor in the nation to denounce these cards and the organization that continues to create them - Planned Parenthood.

Poinsettias and Planned Parenthood

It has become tradition in the United States for most churches and many homes to use poinsettia plants to create a beautiful festive atmosphere.

Before you purchase your poinsettias this year, you should be aware that the largest distributor of these plants, Paul Ecke Ranch, is a major supporter of Planned Parenthood. The Ecke family members have, for years, been honored by Planned Parenthood of San Diego as one of their biggest abortion supporters.

Those opposed to Planned Parenthood have been getting the word out about the Ecke - Planned Parenthood connection and it has impacted the Ecke Ranch production of poinsettias to the point where it is cutting back on its production this year and is licensing its name to other growers.

We ask everyone who loves life to be sure to check the source of your poinsettia plants before you buy them. If they carry the name of Ecke Ranch, pass them up and look for another brand.

Planned Parenthood is no help for our teens

One of the tactics Planned Parenthood uses in encouraging our children to engage in promiscuous sex is the use of its teen outreach schemes, "Ask the Expert" on its web site, Teenwire.com. You should know that the "expert" is a group of "teenwire.com editors."

A recent question is from a 15-year-old boy who is having trouble getting pleasure out of sexual acts and cannot have an orgasm. He is worried that there is something wrong with him. Planned Parenthood tells him to check with a doctor and then explains that many types of medications can have sexual side effects.

Although Planned Parenthood likes to tell anyone who will listen that it always points out the value of abstinence, nowhere in the answer to this young boy does PP even hint that a 15-year-old should not be having sex.

Planned Parenthood does not educate this child on abstinence, nor does PP explain the dangers of partaking in sexual activity at a young age. PP's response is, "If you're experiencing pain or numbness during sex, it's a good idea to make an appointment with a clinician."

You may ask yourself why Planned Parenthood would completely dismiss the fact that he is a 15-year-old boy. If you have been keeping up to date with the philosophy of Planned Parenthood, then you may not be surprised.

Planned Parenthood's main objective is to corrupt all of our children so that everyone is having sex and purchasing its birth control (which can also cause chemical abortions) and when its birth control fails, PP will receive more money for killing the babies by performing surgical abortions.

Last year Planned Parenthood took in $345 million on clinic income alone.

We've said it before and we'll say it again. Planned Parenthood operates a sex business and makes its money from young people who get involved in a sexual lifestyle. It is not interested in promoting chastity. It's time the general public understood this.

Video on "It's Perfectly Normal" is being noticed

One of the ways we are trying to get out the message about the true nature of Planned Parenthood's sex programs is through our YouTube video exposing the book It's Perfectly Normal, which is endorsed and promoted by Planned Parenthood.

We encourage all of you to pass along this link to the video. On the YouTube web site, this video report has been viewed over 9,000 times. It is enlightening those who see it about the truth of PP's sex education. Please pass it on to everyone you know.

Pro-life activists work together in Denver to fight Planned Parenthood

On December 1, pro-lifers in Denver held a rally that featured pro-life activists from Illinois describing their fight against Planned Parenthood and assisting in the fight against construction of a 50,000 square foot abortion facility in Stapleton, a Denver suburb.

The group, Keep Peace in Stapleton, invited Eric Scheidler from Fox Valley Families Against Planned Parenthood in Aurora, Illinois, Joe Scheidler of Chicago's Pro-Life Action League, and Tom Brejcha, an attorney from the Thomas More Society in Chicago.

Below is an excerpt from a pro-lifer who attended the rally. To read more about her experience from the rally, click here. She included the plans that she learned from attending the rally:

The plans in Colorado are:

  • Pressure contractors (particularly Weitz Company) through phone calls, e-mails, and neighborhood protests to cease construction on the Planned Parenthood mega-clinic.
  • Increase city, state, and neighborhood awareness of the facility and the dishonest practices employed by Planned Parenthood.
  • Preach to those who are working on the building, praying they will, when educated about the project, turn away.
  • Define person in the Colorado constitution as beginning at fertilization (collect signatures for the petitions, campaign for the ballot measure).
  • Continue to intercede outside of abortion clinics.

Witnessing brings others to pursue faith

We are continually encouraged by the reports we are receiving from the many protests against Planned Parenthood around the country.

The following report came to us from New York:

This evening I was praying the Rosary outside Planned Parenthood in Schenectady when a girl came out and walked by us on the sidewalk. She looked sad so I asked, "Are you ok?" She kept going but then stopped and asked if we could pray for her. We explained why we were praying to end abortion and we had one more decade of the Rosary. We told her she was welcome to pray with us. She said she doesn't believe in abortion either. After we were done praying she asked what church we went to and we told her that we were Catholics and told her the parishes we are part of. She said she was born Catholic but has been going to other churches and didn't feel comfortable. I told her about St. Luke's which was only a couple of blocks away. She asked if I had the phone number for the church and by the grace of God I had a bulletin from the church in my car. I gave it to her. May she come to know Christ in the flesh at St. Luke's Church in Schenectady.

God works in many ways. The minds and hearts we touch outside of Planned Parenthood may convince a woman to save her baby's life and may help to restore the peace of Christ to another woman's soul. We are the instruments. God uses us for what He wants. To learn more about protests against Planned Parenthood, please visit our web site at: American Life League's Map Room.

Two more lives saved

There is purpose behind witnessing and protesting at Planned Parenthood. To give of yourself by offering your time and standing in front of the PP clinics and praying for the young women and preborn children is a heroic action.

We need more volunteers. We need more heroes across the world, across the country, in our own states and in our own communities to inform others on the truth and be part of the closing of all Planned Parenthood locations.

If you do not live near a Planned Parenthood facility, that does not mean that Planned Parenthood is not working to get its philosophy into the minds of your children. Across the country Planned Parenthood is working to get into our schools, into our pocket books by receiving government funding, and is killing 5,095 children per week. See what you can do to prevent PP from getting into your community. If PP is already in your community, learn how to get them out.

We will end this WSR with another success story. Two more lives have been saved thanks to heroic, pro-life warriors. This story is listed on the Families Against Planned Parenthood web site.

When I arrived at the Planned Parenthood facility this morning I saw every entrance into the shopping center had pro-lifers with pictures of babies who had been aborted. It was very cold and starting to snow; the people we relieved in front of the clinic were happy to see us and spoke to us about a couple they believe turned away and did not have an abortion. We were encouraged and began to pray and to try to speak with those going in.

Several young couples went into the clinic. Pretty soon one came out again and started walking to their car, I asked them to talk to us and the man (boy?) waved as they got in their car. As they came out of the driveway, he rolled down his window and spoke, saying "we decided not to go through with it."

Today I know at least two babies' lives were saved by our presence. I feel honored and blessed to be used by God in such a way. Please, when you are discouraged, cold and feeling like we are getting nowhere, remember that each minute we are out there, a baby, a mother, and a father may be saved - in more ways than one! May God bless you and keep you warm!
