Planned Parenthood wants to legalize abortion throughout Europe
Planned Parenthood worked to make abortion legal in the United States and now it wants to do the same in Europe.
International Planned Parenthood Federation has come out with a new document, “Why We Need to Talk about Abortion.” In this document, PP cites six women’s stories as reasons why countries throughout Europe should legalize abortion.
In this report, IPPF also states, “The ultimate responsibility for national policies on sexual health and rights lies with national governments.”
PP may be stating that responsibility for sexual health lies with national governments, but, once again, PP is positioning itself to exert maximum influence in the effort to legalize abortion.

Planned Parenthood encourages sinful activity
American Life League has a brochure and picket sign that proclaims the message “Planned Parenthood Steals Souls.” This material was created because much of what Planned Parenthood does is enable and even encourage young people to violate the Ten Commandments and to live sinful lives.
We recently came across Planned Parenthood doing just that.

On PP’s sexual indoctrination web site for teens, Teenwire.com, PP answers a girl who is worried about her boyfriend who masturbates.
Instead of suggesting ways to get help for her boyfriend, PP informs this worried girl that masturbation is not harmful, but is instead “one of the body’s most effective ways to relieve stress.”
Instead of suggesting that this young girl talk with her parents, a counselor or a clergyman, PP encourages her to masturbate with her boyfriend.
A direct quote from Teenwire.com states, “It's important to let partners know that we care about them and that, if we masturbate, it does not mean that they are not satisfying to us. This also may help free them of the guilt they may be having about masturbating themselves.”

Judge delays opening of Aurora’s PP clinic
After a court hearing on Monday, U.S. District Judge Charles Norgle ordered a delay in the opening of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Aurora.
The clinic was scheduled to open on Tuesday, September 18, after the temporary permit issued to Gemini Office Development, LLC was set to expire.
The city of Aurora has been investigating how Planned Parenthood sneaked its way into the city by lying on permit applications. It told PP last week that the opening would be delayed until the city could complete its investigation. PP sued to force the issuance of the occupancy permit, but the judge delayed his decision until Thursday. Planned Parenthood did not open yesterday as it had planned.

This is great news for the city of Aurora, but the fight is not over. Let us continue to pray to keep PP out of our towns and communities.
California legislature denies PP a $24 million budget increase
Planned Parenthood suffers a stunning defeat in California.
On August 24, California’s $145.5 billion state budget for 2007-2008 passed, but it did not include an increase in reimbursement rates for Medi-Cal services. This was a major defeat for PP.
Despite all the last-minute attempts to get the additional money, PP failed.
PP lobbied California legislators for an increase in state funding, claiming that 10,000 people per month were being turned away from PP clinics because it did not have the needed funds. PP used these battle cries: “This is not a reproductive health problem. It is a public health crisis.” “Vast numbers of underserved populations are going without health care – and that is having very disastrous consequences.”
As pro-lifers all across California worked to defeat PP’s thrust, American Life League released a financial analysis of PP’s California affiliates, to reveal its lies. The fact is that PP received $272 million in taxpayer money since 1998 and recorded a total profit of $83 million. In a typical recent year, Planned Parenthood received $42 million in taxpayer funds and had a profit of $14 million.
In the end, the combined efforts of pro-life forces defeated Planned Parenthood. In 2004-2005, California’s affiliates received $42,056,930 in tax dollars. PP had funding increases in 2005 and 2006, but the tide is turning. With this stunning defeat, Planned Parenthood will be receiving less money next year.
If PP can lose taxpayer money in California, it can lose it anywhere. Everyone fighting PP should take heart from this victory. Now is the time to renew our efforts across the country. You can begin by signing the petition to STOPP Planned Parenthood from receiving our tax dollars and get Planned Parenthood out of our pockets. If you have already signed, we ask that you get five of your friends to sign. We can stop the taxpayer funding of PP if we all work together.

Life saved at Planned Parenthood
A life has been saved outside of a Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas. The following is reported on the Coalition for Life’s web site:
After being at Planned Parenthood all morning counseling women entering for abortions, one of our sidewalk counselors went to eat lunch at a local restaurant. When he was done eating and walking out the door someone said, “Excuse me”.
He turned around and saw a woman and her daughter he had counseled earlier at Planned Parenthood.
The daughter said “I want you to tell all the people that were out there with you thank you for praying for me.”
The counselor told her that everyone out there is there out of love for her and her unborn child. He asked her if she had gone through with the abortion and she said, “No.”
Then he asked if he could hug her and, without waiting for a reply, hugged her anyway!
She then said, “If it wasn’t for all of you out there praying, I would have had the abortion.”
PRAISE GOD!!!
A total of four sidewalk counselors lovingly reached out to this woman and her mother during their visit to Planned Parenthood and there was never a time on Saturday when there weren’t people praying in front of the clinic.
This story shows what is at stake in abortion and proves that when we trust God and bring His love to places as hopeless as abortion clinics, He will work miracles. Thanks to all of you who came out on Saturday, you make a difference!
