Did Planned Parenthood protect another rapist?

Newspapers reported on June 6 that 15-year-old Danielle Cramer, who had been missing for nearly a year, was found hidden underneath a stairwell in the West Hartford, Connecticut home of 41-year-old man. Shortly after she was found, it was disclosed in a court document that "she recently had an abortion at Planned Parenthood in West Hartford,” but would not disclose the father’s identity. However, she did also note to detectives that homeowner’s longtime girlfriend “would be really mad if she found out.”

While no formal charges of sexual assault have been filed, these comments seem to imply the possibility that the 15-year-old runaway was the victim of statutory rape – or worse. “Abortion paperwork” was listed among the property seized in the investigation of this case.

Sadly, this case, in which Planned Parenthood appears to have neglected its legal obligation to report suspected rape, is nothing new for Planned Parenthood of Connecticut. In fact, this is the second incident in the short span of two months. A Planned Parenthood clinic in Norwich also apparently neglected to report the suspected rape of a 14-year-old girl who was impregnated three times by a 22-year-old man over the course of six months.

Planned Parenthood is an organization that continues to promote abortion at all costs, even when it permits sexual predators to get away with rape. Last year Planned Parenthood reported receiving over $305 million in taxpayer funding nationwide, $4.5 million of that was given to PP in Connecticut alone.

We must expose Planned Parenthood for the evil that it does. To find out more about how Planned Parenthood continues to protect rapists and child molesters, visit ChildPredators.com. It is also time to tell our government officials in no uncertain terms that Planned Parenthood is not an organization that deserves a single penny of our money. Planned Parenthood excuses promiscuity

Everyone knows the stereotype of the sleazy guy who is just on the prowl at a bar to find a random girl to sleep with. Greasy, chauvinistic, manipulative, probably even has a condom already in his pocket ready to make his move.

Lately though, Trojan Condoms and Planned Parenthood seem to want to change that stereotype. Trojan recently released an ad that depicts all the men in a bar as pigs (literally). The implication is that they are all doing their best to manipulate the women at the bar so they can get them into bed. But there is one pig that changes into a seemingly dashing young man.

So what makes the change? Is it because he decides to treat this woman with the respect that she deserves? Is it because he decides that he is more interested in love than fornication? Is it because he realizes that the gift of sex is meant for and perfected by the union of marriage? No, it is because he bought a condom.

This ad attempts to tell its audience that if a man uses a condom then he is not like the other “pigs,” even though his motives remain the same.

So what does this have to do with Planned Parenthood?

When Trojan released this ad to television networks both FOX and CBS realized the offensive nature of the message and refused to air the ad. One spokesman for CBS even stated the ad was “not appropriate…even with late-night-only restrictions.”

Immediately Planned Parenthood took notice and reacted with a press release and a petition to manipulate FOX and CBS into airing the ad. In fact PP has reported that its supporters have already sent over 30,000 letters to the networks demanding that this ad be aired, as well as private letters from Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood.

We contend that the reason Planned Parenthood came to the defense of the commercial is because the ad is exactly what PP thinks “comprehensive medically accurate sex ed” should be. Basically, Planned Parenthood teaches that you can do any number of sexual acts with any number of partners—whether you're married or not—if you use contraception. In other words, it’s OK to use people, as long as you buy its products.

This is the message Planned Parenthood wants to send to its customers, 70 percent of which are under the age of 25. It is ideas like this that Planned Parenthood is pushing that make it so necessary to keep a watchful eye over our children and ensure that they are not indoctrinated by PP’s marketing program into an over-sexualized lifestyle.

Planned Parenthood tries to explain away abortion increase

For the first time in five years the number of abortions committed in Minnesota has increased. While national rates of surgical abortion continue to decline Minnesota reported over 700 more abortions, an approximate 5 percent increase, than the previous year.

Scott Fischbach, head of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, noted that Planned Parenthood's three new express clinics in Twin Cities suburbs were likely responsible for the 16 percent increase in abortions among minors in the state. He said, “There's no other change that's happened in the state other than Planned Parenthood preying on teens, targeting and marketing to teens, much like Big Tobacco has done”

The president of Planned Parenthood of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota called the charge “ludicrous” and instead speculated that the rate of abortion rose in teens because of the growth in abstinence-only sex education programs in high schools.

In other words, Planned Parenthood is saying that more teens are getting pregnant and having abortions, not because of the PP’s sex education or products that facilitate sex among teens, but because people are instructing teens not to have sex. Now that’s ludicrous!

The numbers show that Planned Parenthood’s express clinics seem to be doing a great job at marketing its products and services. A year ago, Planned Parenthood in Minnesota committed an average of 272 abortions per month. However, after June of last year the average rose to 329 abortions per month. The total number of abortions Planned Parenthood committed in Minnesota last year increased by 648 from the previous year, which is almost exactly the same as the statewide increase of 703.

Many people are misled into thinking that as long as Planned Parenthood doesn’t operate a surgical abortion clinic in their community then they have nothing to worry about. The increase in the number of children Planned Parenthood is killing, thanks to the increased business garnered by its express clinics, is a tragic reminder that this is not the case.

Planned Parenthood’s influence in our communities is dangerous and deadly to our children both born and pre-born. Planned Parenthood must be publicly opposed everywhere it is, in everything that it does.

STOPPers put pressure on Planned Parenthood early on

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts will not move into its new location at 470 Pleasant St. in Worcester for another year; but it is already feeling opposition from members of the local community.

Many of the protesters are members of the Life Action League of Massachusetts and say they want to raise awareness of the new $3 million facility that Planned Parenthood hopes to put into this commercial and residential neighborhood.

One member of Life Action League of Massachusetts, Linda McManus, said, “I want to be there because we should let people know what’s going on at Planned Parenthood and that they’re coming.” While prayer and visibility are effective strategies at closing down Planned Parenthood clinics, it is even better if a community can prevent PP from ever even getting its foot in the door. The good people of Worcester seem to know this and have responded quickly and powerfully as soon as they found out about PP’s plans for relocation.

When fighting Planned Parenthood in your own community, take a few pointers from Life Action League of Massachusetts (all of these are described more in depth in our Plan for Defeating Planned Parenthood):

  • Stay informed: Sign up for newsletters and e-mail lists run by Planned Parenthood. This is an invaluable source of information on PP’s operations and plans for your community.
  • Stay active: Oppose Planned Parenthood wherever it is, or wherever it wants to be. Never let PP have a facility where you are not reminding your community of the evil of its work.
  • Expose Planned Parenthood: When you find out about PP’s next move, let everyone in your community know. Write letters to the editor, talk with community leaders, and hold peaceful, prayerful activities where Planned Parenthood operates.
  • Persevere: Planned Parenthood will try everything to dissuade you from opposing its plans for your community. The more PP tries to stop you, the more you must persevere with your efforts of exposing its operations because that is when you know you are making progress. If you keep the pressure on eventually Planned Parenthood will be defeated

We congratulate Life Action League of Massachusetts and all of the community members in Worcester who are working to prevent Planned Parenthood from moving into their neighborhood for their courageous efforts. May their example inspire others to stand up to Planned Parenthood, kick it out, or better yet, keep it from ever tainting their community with its deadly and perverse work.

Baby’s life saved from Planned Parenthood in Pennsylvania

On Monday, Generation Life, a youth-oriented pro-life organization, wrote the following message in its blog:

Today we were at a Planned Parenthood in West Chester. A Hispanic woman went in for an abortion after we tried counseling her; however she did take some of our literature in with her. Twenty minutes later she came back out and decided to choose life after reading the brochure in Spanish we gave her. We had a Spanish speaking woman that was able to talk with her after she came out of the clinic.

Often times people say to us, "Do women really listen to you when you're at the clinic?" or "does it really matter that you're there?" One life saved makes it worth being at the clinic every week.

Please consider going to be a peaceful, prayerful presence at the clinic in your community. You will be amazed at how effective your time there can be.

We thank Generation Life for their continued work praying at the clinic in their community and thank God for the grace of converting hearts and minds and saving lives and souls through their work.

Independence Day

Finally we want to wish you a happy and safe Independence Day and remind you to take a moment to pray that all people, born and pre-born, may enjoy their God-given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
