Retail giant submits to the whims of Planned Parenthood

It has been a few weeks since Planned Parenthood launched its “pill patrol” campaign. This campaign utilizes PP supporters to report on the availability and distribution of contraceptive drugs, most notably so-called emergency contraceptives.

On April 4 another organization gave in to Planned Parenthood’s systematic bullying. Wal-Mart joined other pharmacies such as CVS, Rite-Aid and Walgreen’s in formally instituting programs to stock and dispense “emergency contraception.”

According to a Planned Parenthood survey that Wal-Mart filled out, the new policy ensures customers will “receive their prescriptions or OTC products in store without discrimination, without delay and without judgment.” The reality of what this means is that this policy will mandate every Wal-Mart pharmacy to stock these pills and every pharmacists to dispense them even if they feel that they are unethical or harmful.

What is very interesting about this new policy is that when people think of “big business,” it is often Wal-Mart that is in the forefront of their minds. However, this case makes it very clear that Planned Parenthood is really the corporate power if even Wal-Mart is forced to bend to its will.

It is important that people realize that PP is not the quiet little “health care” organization that it paints itself to be. Planned Parenthood is the epitome of big business and it throws its weight around from the smallest community market place all the way to the halls of Congress.

Planned Parenthood to run a booth and march in homosexual parade

Planned Parenthood of Central and Northern Arizona is going to be participating in the Phoenix Pride Parade and Festival, an annual homosexual parade and fair in Arizona this Saturday.

After marching in the parade, Planned Parenthood will run a booth that will feature its traditional fare of condoms and sexual lubricants. If you recall previous Wednesday STOPP Reports where we have exposed college “sex fairs,” then you know that in addition to these items it just wouldn’t be a Planned Parenthood event if it didn’t also include perverse games. This time it is no different.

Planned Parenthood will be manning a booth throughout both days of the festival alongside like-minded organizations, including pornography stores and sex shops.

Events like this continue to be fodder for exposing the reality of the “comprehensive medically accurate sex ed” Planned Parenthood seeks to mandate in your children’s schools and community organizations.

Planned Parenthood encourages students to paint pictures of their genitals

Yesterday, April 10, Planned Parenthood’s VOX college group at Arizona State University ran a booth at the school’s Feminist Fun Fair. A reader of the Wednesday STOPP Report forwarded an e-mail that explained that the booth featured paints and canvass and encouraged young women to paint a picture of their genitals. According to the Planned Parenthood e-mail, this event would “raise awareness about feminism and sexuality.”

This phrase alone would be sufficient to make it clear that Planned Parenthood has no idea what feminism truly means. Exactly what about painting a picture of your genitals is making you more aware about feminism?

Planned Parenthood continues to attack our college students every day with depravity under the guise of education and information. To get involved with the fight to keep Planned Parenthood off of our college campuses please contact us at stopp@all.org to get more information and the resources you need to win.

Planned Parenthood seeks to open killing center near minority worship sites

Precious Children of Portland is an organization that is leading the charge to keep PP out of the communities in and around Portland, Oregon. They need your prayers.

As the Catholic Sentinel reported, four Catholic parishes and a Catholic school are among the groups fighting PP. Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers of Immaculate Heart Church said Planned Parenthood is "trying to promote it as health services to the African-American community, but what it really is, is abortion in disguise… Kids will be getting information about sex, then getting pregnant and then going back to the place where they got the information for an abortion.”

Planned Parenthood is negotiating with the Portland Development Commission to purchase land from the city and build a new abortion clinic. One of the interesting aspects of this move is that PP's previous location had an African-American population of less than 2 percent but the new site is in a community that is 42 percent African-American. It is clear that the eugenic philosophies of Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, are still thriving in the organization.

In a January meeting, David Greenburg of Planned Parenthood stated that he expects 100 customers a day. At another meeting, it was stated that Planned Parenthood expects to commit abortions on 5 percent of these patients. PP appears to want to be opened seven days a week. Five babies a day times 365 days in the year makes 1,825 babies that this single Planned Parenthood clinic could slaughter in one year alone.

In addition to Planned Parenthood’s attack on the African-American community, local Muslims are also feeling the influence of PP’s proposed clinic. The site that Planned Parenthood is seeking to buy is only a few feet away from a local Muslim prayer center. Members of the center asked for the community’s help to keep Planned Parenthood away from their place of worship. Imagine what it would be like to have a Planned Parenthood killing center operating next door to your church or temple.

Precious Children of Portland is asking for members of their community, and all who read this information, to contact Mayor Tom Potter by calling (503) 823-4120. Let the Mayor know how you feel about Planned Parenthood being allowed to purchase land to kill babies. He even takes messages after hours so do not hesitate to call even if it is after the normal work day.

Please also contact the members of the Portland Development Commission and voice your concerns about Planned Parenthood’s attack on the people of Portland:

  • Bruce Warner, the director.
  • Sara King the supervisor of this project who stated, according to the Catholic Sentinel, that just the money is important and not the morality.
  • Mark Rosenbaum, chairman of commissioners, who stated at a hearing that he is "only transferring property.”
  • The rest of the commissioners, Bertha Ferran, Sal Kadri, Charles Wilhoite, John Mohlis.

All of the contact information can be found on Precious Children of Portland web site.

Contact these individuals and let them know about the evil and perversion that the big business of Planned Parenthood engages in. Most importantly, please also pray for these people as well as Precious Children of Portland and all the members of the community that Planned Parenthood is attacking.

Divine Mercy

This Sunday is Divine Mercy Sunday, a day that Christ promised His faithful tremendous graces for honoring His Passion and calling upon his great mercy. Please consider the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The further the lance was thrust into it, the more blood and water poured forth.

At times the fight against Planned Parenthood can seem daunting, that there is so much killing, so much perversion, so much evil that maybe nothing can overcome it. But it is at these times when it is so important to remember that “where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more.”

This Sunday, call upon our Lord to have great mercy upon us and our world for the offenses we have committed against Him and His gifts of sexuality and human life.

Celebrate Life article: Why I pray at abortion clinics

The current issue of Celebrate Life, American Life League's magazine, features a conversion story by Elizabeth A. Lynch entitled “Why I pray at abortion clinics.” Please read it and send it to your fellow prayer warriors.

Pennsylvania citizens refuse to be intimidated by Planned Parenthood

You may remember in last week’s Wednesday STOPP Report, we exposed the deception of Planned Parenthood’s favorite scare tactic, pledge a protester programs. Yesterday we received an email from opponents of Planned Parenthood in Pennsylvania who reported on the efforts of their community, despite PP’s threats. The email read:

Just as you said, the local Planned Parenthood killing center here in West Chester, Pa., did have their Pledge a Picket sign out front on Good Friday. Our people continued to read the Passion, pray the Rosary, and try to counsel the victims despite this. Also, some of us went on to the Bucks County Planned Parenthood killing center. We accomplished three main goals. Namely, one couple left saying their baby was going to live, praise God. Secondly, fifteen percent of the pro-life witnesses were youth group members, now inspired to step out more in the fight against Planned Parenthood. Lastly, the police force was obliged to look internally and contend with their own members, a few of which had been hiring themselves out as guards for this mill. This was all truly thanks to the Son of God.

We were encouraged to hear that members of communities were not intimidated by Planned Parenthood but instead valiantly stood in peaceful, prayerful protest. We encourage our readers to continue to be a regular presence at Planned Parenthood’s clinics throughout the year as one of the most important steps in stopping this evil organization once and for all.
