Planned Parenthood ignores teen’s question

The more you read about Planned Parenthood from its own web sites, pamphlets and articles, the more you are able to see through its subversive lies. Occasionally the truth about Planned Parenthood is found more clearly in how it answers a question than perhaps even in the answer itself.

A recent answer to a question posed on Planned Parenthood’s teen site, TeenWire, is a perfect example of this. A reader asked whether something he was experiencing was a normal anatomical function. The response that Planned Parenthood supplied completely ignored the question and instead of answering it, rehashed some of the same tired rhetoric it has been using for years in other articles and responses.

This kind of response makes it clear what Planned Parenthood really thinks about teens. Instead of trying to answer the questions teens actually pose and genuinely be educational, it just turns a deaf ear and regurgitates bland replies.

When Planned Parenthood speaks about “comprehensive sex education,” this is what it means: PP wants to decide what “facts” are included in the program and direct what topics are discussed in your child’s classroom. Planned Parenthood wants to tell kids what to do, how to do it and where to buy its products.

We must stand up publicly in our communities and oppose Planned Parenthood’s attack on our children. We must educate our friends, family and community leaders about exactly what Planned Parenthood is trying to teach our kids. Ultimately, we must ensure that Planned Parenthood’s blind and deaf approach to sexuality education is kept out of our schools and youth organizations.

Planned Parenthood and V-Day

There is an incredibly outrageous event that has been going on for several years and is still making its rounds on college campuses all across the nation. It is frequently referred to as V-Day—the day “The Vagina Monologues” is presented.

Planned Parenthood is a big fan of this raunchy presentation, so much so that it gave Eve Ensler, is creator, a Maggie Award in 2000. According to PP, the Maggie Award is named after Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger and is given “to recognize exceptional achievement by the media and arts and entertainment industries in support of reproductive rights and health care issues.”

In many areas, funds raised through the performance are given to Planned Parenthood. The local VOX Planned Parenthood college group often acts as sponsor of the event.

For those of you in college towns that may be facing an upcoming V-Day, there is a great resource to help you counter this event. The Clare Booth Luce Policy Institute has created "The Vagina Monologues Exposed: A Student's Guide to V-Day." You can download a copy online.

*CAUTION*: Because of the vulgar nature of this event, the material on opposing it may not be suitable for everyone.

We must combat Planned Parenthood everywhere and V-Day will provide an opportunity to do so on your local college campus. According to the V-Day web site, there are hundreds of events scheduled on college campuses during February and March. To find out if an event is scheduled in your area, check online.

Combat perversion of Valentine’s Day with prayer

As we mentioned above as well as in last week’s Wednesday STOPP Report, Planned Parenthood is hosting events and distributing products and literature that promote sin and perversion under the guise of celebrating Valentine’s Day.

We know that Valentine’s Day is a day when true love should be celebrated and not sin. We encourage our readers to spend some time in prayer today asking our Lord to inspire the hearts of all people involved with Planned Parenthood’s work to repent and devote their lives to promoting the true love of Jesus in the world.

STOPP offers new resource in the fight against Planned Parenthood

We at American Life League are continually doing research to make newer and better literature and information available to help in your work to fight Planned Parenthood. One of the most important aspects of our Plan for Defeating Planned Parenthood is keeping PP away from our children.

Because of this American Life League has compiled a new pamphlet directed at youth to explain Planned Parenthood’s attack on our children. “Planned Parenthood Exploits Teens” is available to read in full and download free on our web site. If you would like to purchase color versions of this pamphlet they are available from our resources department online. Credit card orders may be placed by calling toll-free 866-LET-LIVE. Special bulk rates are available.

American Life League promises to continue producing the most accurate and up-to-date information on Planned Parenthood. We also encourage you to contact us to get specific information about PP in your community and what you can do to stop Planned Parenthood.

Visible fruits of taking away Planned Parenthood’s tax money

You may remember from last week’s Wednesday STOPP Report that Jim Sedlak was able to visit New Hampshire recently to help in the fight to have tax money taken away from Planned Parenthood. Even though we always try to emphasize how important taking away PP’s government funding is, nothing speaks louder than results.

An article in the February 11 edition of the Los Angeles Times reports, “several states are pushing to restrict or eliminate public funding for groups that support abortion rights, especially Planned Parenthood. They've had some success, notably in Missouri; six other legislatures will take up the issue this year.”

This article also mentions that in 2005, Texas lawmakers redirected $25 million that was to have gone to Planned Parenthood over a two-year period. In the case of one clinic in Austin, this resulted in a 62 percent budget cut. The most exciting part of the article is the news that “the clinic has distributed 40 percent fewer birth control pills” and that “several thousand patients have stopped coming.”

Not only was Planned Parenthood forced to reduce the amount of evil work it was performing but people actually began to visit places that could provide real healthcare. In this case, not only did PP lose the millions a year from the government but it also lost countless dollars as people stopped utilizing its services. There could be no clearer proof of how effective removing government funding is in the fight against Planned Parenthood.

May this news fill you with great inspiration to tirelessly fight in your own cities and states to get Planned Parenthood’s funding completely removed. If you have not already done so, please visit www.stopplannedparenthoodtaxfunding.com, sign the petition to stop PP’s government funding and stay up to date on what you can do in your state.

Finally, we wish each of you a very happy and blessed Valentine’s Day.
