Interview exposes Planned Parenthood’s intentions for our youth

Last Friday, September 22, Planned Parenthood posted an interview on its web site with director Kirby Dick about his new movie, This Film Is Not Yet Rated, a documentary about Hollywood’s film rating process. Throughout the interview PP talks with Mr. Dick about film rating in this country and how it may be leading toward the censorship of sex, especially homosexual acts. The most interesting portion of the interview was when PP states:

A few years back, Planned Parenthood outlined a set of goals to achieve by the year 2025. Goal one is to "ensure that sexuality is understood as an essential, lifelong aspect of being human and that it is celebrated with respect, openness, and mutuality." Your documentary suggests that movies could go a long way to further such a goal if existing censorship obstacles were not in place.

This statement exposes two things about Planned Parenthood. First of all, by the reference to its 25-year plan, we can see that the oversexualized goals that were set in the year 2000 are still very much a focus of PP’s activities.

The other thing that is made very clear is that Planned Parenthood seems to be advocating for children to be exposed to sex, including homosexual acts and other sexual immorality, on film. PP is constantly working to push its brand of sexuality into every aspect of our culture and to indoctrinate our children into the sexual lifestyle that it needs to continue to make big profits.

We must more than ever be aware and be on guard to protect our children from the immorality that is pervasive in so much of our society. However, this protection cannot simply be defensive; we must stand and fight to keep Planned Parenthood from forcing its immorality upon our culture.

Anti-contraception conference warns about Planned Parenthood

This past weekend two members of our staff attended the “Contraception Is Not the Answer” conference in Chicago. The following is a short account of some of what they heard there:

I am so grateful to Joe Scheidler and Pro-Life Action League for putting together this conference. Several of the speakers gave biological information on the physical effects of contraception. Some spoke about the social ramifications of a contraceptive society and even the tremendous population implosion that is happening as a result. However, I couldn’t help but notice that nearly every one of the speakers mentioned Planned Parenthood at some point. One of the speakers even gave considerable mention to the necessity of removing the governmental funding from Planned Parenthood. It is no secret to the people who see the terrible effects of contraception that Planned Parenthood has been a great driving force responsible for its spread and acceptance.

If you are subscribing to the Wednesday STOPP Report then this information probably does not surprise you. However, it is easy to not fully realize the scale that Planned Parenthood is involved in the promotion of the contraceptive culture. Just last year PP distributed dangerous contraceptive drugs and devices to nearly 2.5 million Americans. According to PP’s own reports, contraception alone accounts for approximately 75 percent of its customer services. To make things worse, through Title X and other programs Planned Parenthood is given millions of our federal tax dollars each year to do it.

“Pot Luck for Choice” and South Dakota

Recently PP has been promoting its new campaign to raise money to fight against the ban of surgical and medical abortions in South Dakota. PP is encouraging people from all over the country to host a potluck gathering to raise money for the Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota Action Fund. South Dakota itself only has five of these events scheduled. Within a 1,000 mile radius of South Dakota there are another 41 events scheduled to be held. The breakdown of these by state is:

  • Minnesota – 10
  • Iowa – 5
  • Michigan – 5
  • Illinois – 5
  • Colorado – 3
  • Ohio – 2
  • Texas – 2
  • Tennessee – 1
  • Kansas – 1
  • Missouri – 1
  • Indiana – 1

Thus far, 110 “Pot Luck for Choice” events are scheduled to take place this weekend of Sept 29-Oct 1.

The push is to raise even more funds for the misinformation campaign that PP is engaged in against the people of South Dakota. It is important that we take a few moments to pray for the conversion of all of those people attending these events this weekend as well as for the people of South Dakota. Pray that they will realize the truth and resist the lies of the upcoming propaganda campaign.

Please visit www.VoteYesForLife.com to find out how you can support the people of South Dakota who are heading the efforts to pass the abortion ban and prevent Planned Parenthood from misleading voters this fall.

High school student in Colorado standing up against EC

Recently we received a letter from a high school student in Denver stating:

My school newspaper had an article saying Plan B was not an abortion inducing pill. I am writing a letter which I will leave in the newspaper teacher's box saying how that was incorrect. Please look over my letter and make sure that everything I have said is correct.

In her response she explained how Plan B worked by preventing the implantation of the already created child and caused a chemical abortion.

The reason that this student’s letter to her newspaper refuting the misinformation about Plan B is so interesting is that the nearest Planned Parenthood facility to her school is … literally across the street.

Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, the affiliate that owns and operates the clinics in Colorado has consistently pushed for the widespread use of “emergency contraception”. You may recall that in June PPRM distributed free doses of “emergency contraception” to women and girls as young as age 14.

It is certainly no coincidence that the newspaper of this school would be reporting incorrect information about a drug that PPRM is interested in pushing when one of its facilities is located so near the school.

This fact got us wondering how common of an occurrence this is. We ask that you please let us know if there is a Planned Parenthood located near your child or grandchild’s school. Eventually, as we continue to gather information, we plan to offer more resources for youth to use to educate themselves and their peers about the dangers of Planned Parenthood.

Life saved at Planned Parenthood in Houston

We received a report from the Houston Coalition for Life about the saving of a child at Planned Parenthood. The report stated:

One of our early morning sidewalk counselors reported that she spoke in great detail to a mother who was waiting for her daughter who was scheduled for an abortion. She said that this baby would be addicted to crack and that they were already raising two other “crack babies.” The counselor spoke to the grandmother about this rationale of taking the baby’s life because the mother is addicted to crack. That this in no way solves the problem, in fact it is probably the root of the problem. She spoke to her lovingly about her grandbaby and how much it needed her protection and asked her to please go into Planned Parenthood and relay this information to her daughter and ask her to reconsider.

We can tell you that the grandmother did indeed go back into Planned Parenthood and left shortly with her daughter. They were not in Planned Parenthood long enough to have had an abortion. Please pray for this mother and grandmother that they may realize that this abortion would not help or solve their problem, that it would only make it worse. Pray that this mother has the strength and courage to get off drugs and is able to be a nurturing and loving mother to her children, the two that are born and the one in the womb.

Congratulations to the Houston Coalition and thanks for all the work they are doing to save babies from Planned Parenthood.
