Putting current data into historical perspective

The year 2004 was the last full year of Gloria Feldt's reign as president of PPFA. Her first full year was in 1997. Let's look at what PP did last year and compare it with the first seven years of Feldt's reign.

Planned Parenthood continued its assault on preborn babies. The number of abortions it committed rose from 244,628 in 2003 to 255,015 in 2004. This was a 4.2% increase. This was the eighth straight year of more baby killing under Feldt:

Year   Abortions   Increase
1997 165,174 7.7%
1998 168,509 2.0%
1999 182,792 8.5%
2000 197,070 7.8%
2001 213,026 8.1%
2002 230,63 8.3%
2003 244,628 6.1%
2004 255,015 4.2%

Thus, Gloria Feldt presided over the deaths of 1,656,844 babies during her eight years as president of PPFA!

The total number of babies that have died at Planned Parenthood facilities since it first began doing abortions on July 2, 1970 has now reached: 3,803,806.

Planned Parenthood is responsible for 8% of all the estimated abortions performed in the United States since the 1973 Supreme Court Roe decision. More significantly, Planned Parenthood performed almost 20% of all abortions in the United States in 2004. This percentage has been increasing every year.
