Planned Parenthood - The future invented
To most people it probably seemed like an innocent news item. The item in the October 12, 2005 Citizen Link Daily Update, from Focus on the Family, read:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are considering the recommendation of a human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination for every 12 year old, a proposal that some are applauding for its medical benefit, but that others are criticizing on ethical grounds. If the CDC accepts the recommendation, it could lead to states requiring boys and girls to be vaccinated for the sexually transmitted disease before they enter middle school. (An August, 2004 PowerPoint presentation on HPV immunization is available on the CDC web site.)
But to those who have been fighting Planned Parenthood for decades, it is a wake-up call. We remember that, in 1987, Planned Parenthood people participated in creating a document called Inventing the Future: Alternatives to Adolescent Pregnancy. This was a document that established their goals for the 21st Century. Perhaps one of the scariest scenarios described in the document is the "Protect Our Young People: Immunize" movement. The document lays out the following fictional (or is it?) chain of events:
In 2008, a female was elected President of the United States. In her State of the Union message, she advocated conception immunization of all preteen boys and girls within the United States. Reversal immunization, after extensive counseling, was made available upon request. Within six months, conception-immunization clinics were established across the country. Within a year pregnancy occurred to almost no one under the age of 18, and to very few young people under 21.
In the document, a fictional person makes the following statement years after the conception-immunization program is implemented: "Remember when people first realized that immunizations were mandatory? I was surprised at the number of people who were supportive of the idea. I think they finally realized this was the only way to have a real impact on the teenage pregnancy problem. I must admit it was strange to see the conception immunization on the school health form."
At the Cairo conference in the 1990s, the Clinton administration announced that the United States government was, in fact, working on immuno-contraceptives.
Of course, neither the document, nor the Clinton administration, mentioned the following facts;
- It has always been easier to prevent implantation that to prevent fertilization. Thus these immunizations will most likely work by allowing fertilization to take place and then preventing implantation. In other words, by killing young persons in the womb.
- Once the children are vaccinated, who is to say who will be allowed to have children in the future? Clearly, there will be a reversal drug available, but who will receive it? Will one have to take physical and mental tests and only the "fit" people will be allowed to have children? This program seems like a eugenicist's dream.
- The only way the children are at risk for this "disease" is if they choose to live a life of sin.
Now comes the news item at the beginning of this article. Oh, wow, how can anyone be against immunizing children against diseases? You can argue all you want on this, but we here at STOPP are alerting you that the real purpose of this is to move us closer to mandatory conception immunization - an event that will lead us into a whole host of problems much too numerous to adequately cover in this short article.
We know that some of you will think we are paranoid. To you we simply say, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't out to get you.
PLEASE fight this HPV immunization, and all similar immunizations, with every ounce of strength you have. Let the CDC know you will not stand for this. Call them at 800-232-4636 and tell them you do not want preteens or teens immunized against HPV.
Planned Parenthood fighting the Alito nomination
Planned Parenthood is already issuing statements to the effect that Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito must be defeated. PP's Democratic friends are already beginning to threaten a filibuster to prevent a vote on the nomination.
The pro-life community has been asking for years to get a Supreme Court nominee who is a "strict constructionist." That is, one who will apply the constitution and not legislate from the bench.
Judge Alito is just such a person. We urge all STOPPers to work for the confirmation of Judge Alito. Contact your United States senators and insist that Judge Alito be given fair hearings and a vote of the full Senate. Then, tell your senators you expect them to vote YES on the confirmation of Judge Alito.
We are convinced this nomination process will be a watershed in the fight to restore personhood to the preborn. Our message should be straight-forward and simple: APPROVE ALITO!
Research help for pro-lifers
A couple of weeks ago, we told you of an experienced researcher who is available to help STOPPers all across the country to fight Planned Parenthood. One group of STOPPers in New York state decided to ask him to find out who was doing abortions at the local Planned Parenthood abortuaries. In a matter of days, the researcher was able to identify three abortionists who kill babies at the PP facilities.
Another group of STOPPers is currently having him do research on PP in Minnesota.
If you need research done on your local Planned Parenthood, at a reasonable cost, send an e-mail to stopp@all.org with "research" as the subject and we will put you in touch with the researcher.
Web design and hosting help for pro-lifers
An award winning web designer who has done websites for the United Nations, pro-life groups and private businesses has let us know he is willing to provide web design and hosting support for any pro-life groups or churches. If you would like to combat your local PP with focused web sites (or simply need a website for your church or group) and want to take advantage of this offer to provide services at reasonable fees, please send an e-mail to stopp@all.org and put "web services" in the subject line. We will then put you in touch with the web designer.
Planned Parenthood in Canada running scared
Planned Parenthood is an international organization with affiliates in over 140 countries. In Canada, the Planned Parenthood affiliate was known, until last Thursday, as the Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada. But PPFC has been under fire for many years.
Human Life International operated, for years, a Canadian branch that focused on PPFC. Life Decisions International has also focused on PPFC and produced brochures specifically informing people about PP's Canadian affiliate. In the early 1990s, STOPP's executive director did a speaking tour of the province of Alberta educating the public about PPFC. And, of course, numerous pro-life groups in Canada have been waging the battle against PPFC.
In a transparent effort to try and hide from all the truth that pro-lifers have been telling, PPFC has changed its name to the Canadian Federation for Sexual Health. CFSH will still be the official affiliate of the International Planned Parenthood Federation and will still advocate all of PP's policies and tell all of PP's lies. It will just go by a different name to try and hide its real agenda.
STOPP congratulates all who brought PPFC to this decision to back away from its history and try to operate under a new name. We know it will not work. Let's all continue to fight the Canadian Federation for Sexual Health.
