It’s obvious the Girl Scouts just don’t get it;
time for parents, churches to leave program

“It is time all parents pulled their children from the Girl Scouts and all churches of all denominations stopped sponsoring troops,” said Jim Sedlak, executive director of American Life League’s STOPP International. “Parents in the United States simply do not want to send their children to an organization that openly embraces the sick philosophy of Planned Parenthood.”

Sedlak’s call comes in response to two recent discoveries concerning the relationship between the Girl Scouts organization and Planned Parenthood.

“First,” said Sedlak, “the executive director of the Bluebonnet Girl Scout Council in Waco, Texas – a council that had publicly cut its ties with Planned Parenthood earlier this year – proudly attends an event celebrating Planned Parenthood’s 65th anniversary in Waco. And now, the Mile Hi Girl Scout Council gives a ‘Woman of Distinction Award’ to a senior vice president of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.”

American Life League conducted a survey of Girl Scout councils across the United States and found that one in five of the councils responding has some kind of relationship with Planned Parenthood. “With these new developments, it is obvious that the Girl Scouts are going to continue to partner with the nation’s leading abortion provider and promoter of sex between unmarried young people,” said Sedlak. “The Girl Scouts have chosen their new direction and it’s time people of faith separated themselves from the organization”
