Tomorrow, pro-lifers will join together to hold coordinated protests outside Planned Parenthood facilities throughout the nation.
The purpose of the protest is to call attention to the fact that the American public wants all taxpayer funds taken away from Planned Parenthood NOW! The time has come to defund America’s abortion giant! Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest abortion chain, killing over 300,000 babies each year, and nearly half of its billion dollar budget comes from our tax dollars.
The new 115th Congress is already introducing legislation to strip Planned Parenthood of federal funding!
Tomorrow, February 11, pro-lifers like you will take to the streets to demand that our government stops funding an organization that specializes in killing children.
As we write this, protests are already scheduled at over 211 Planned Parenthood locations in 44 states and the District of Columbia. This means that at least one out of every three Planned Parenthood clinics in America will have a protest outside its doors on that one Saturday.
Planned Parenthood is planning a counter-protest in many areas. Here are three ways that you can help ensure that this protest will be a success:
1. Promote the #DefundPP Rally via e-mail. I know it's asking a lot to send out an e-mail to your entire list, but if you're in a position to do this, it would be a great help.
2. Promote the #DefundPP Rally on Facebook. Please post the following message on both your personal and organizational Facebook page: The fight is on to defund Planned Parenthood! Call on Congress and President Trump to fulfill their promise and strip the nation's largest abortion chain of its $430 million federal taxpayer subsidy!
3. Promote the #DefundPP Rally on Twitter.
Join us at the Planned Parenthood facility in your community as we protest and pray for an end to Planned Parenthood’s massive government subsidy and an end to abortion in our country.
Go to protestpp.com to find the protest nearest to you. If there is none in your area, it’s not too late to organize one.
