Planned Parenthood Attacks Blacks, House Repeals IPAB, Tax Bill Recognizes 'Child in Utero'

This week Planned Parenthood brazenly renewed its eugenic attacks on the black community. Since its beginnings, Planned Parenthood has targeted “women of color” for abortions. Its founder, Margaret Sanger, invited author Lothrop Stoddard on her original board of directors. Stoddard had just released a book entitled The Rising Tide of Color against White World Supremacy.

Black pastor Clenard Childress runs a website, BlackGenocide.org, at which he documents how Planned Parenthood and its fellow abortionists actively work for the elimination of the black race in America. This week, Planned Parenthood’s Twitter account PP Black Community tweeted: “If you're a black woman in America, it's statistically safer to have an abortion than to carry a pregnancy to term or give birth.”

Planned Parenthood has tried to sell the “abortion is safer than childbirth” lie for decades. It has absolutely no valid statistics to back up the claim. But, the point here is that this tweet is specifically targeting black women and telling them they should have an abortion because it is the “safe” thing to do. We can’t imagine any statement that would be more overtly racist. After 101 years, Planned Parenthood hasn’t changed a bit. It is still fighting for white world supremacy.

In other news this week, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 307-111 to repeal Obamacare’s Independent Payment Advisory Board. The establishment of this board was one of the great fighting points in Obamacare. American Life League and many other pro-life organizations raised objections on the basis that we saw the IPAB as a “death panel.” The purpose of IPAB was to address healthcare expenses and to make decisions on who, especially among the over 70 age group, would be approved to get expensive life-saving medical treatments. The IPAB not only looks at government expenses, but also has the ability to limit private, nongovernmental spending on healthcare. The overwhelming bi-partisan support of the repeal of IPAB in the House shows just how unpopular it remains. We hope that the Senate will quickly take up the bill and pass it.

The Trump administration seems to find a variety of places to show its pro-life position. Although we were disappointed that the new Tax Bill (H.R. 1) did not include the defunding of Planned Parenthood, we did find it encouraging that, when the bill addresses the subject of parents establishing savings accounts to pay future school tuition for their children, it also contains the following wording: “Nothing shall prevent an unborn child from being treated as a designated beneficiary or an individual under this section.” For the specific purpose of establishing the savings accounts, the bill says the unborn child must be “in utero” and then says “the term ‘child in utero’ means a member of the species homo sapiens, at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb” (HR 1 – page 93). What a difference a pro-life president makes!
