HORRIBLE HODARI Posted: Thursday March 20, 2008 at 2:25 pm EST by Judie Brown
Just one week ago courageous pro-life activists discovered the body parts of aborted children in dumpsters behind the facility operated by abortionist Alberto Hodari. In the aftermath it was noted that the "doctor" could face a fine of perhaps $2,500 for each violation, if indeed he is charged with a violation of any type. As I write this whether any charges will be brought still remains in question as authorities have been hesitant to make public statements on the matter.
However, the Detroit Free Press is following the story and it appears that Hodari is now claiming that he doubts anyone found tiny hands, rib cages and mutilated bodies of aborted children in his trash! The pictures were taken, the witnesses were there and yet this cruel, deceitful man is in denies any misconduct. But then why wouldn’t he be?
We live in a society that turns a blind eye to the grotesque nature of abortion, rarely, if ever, acknowledging that there is anything wrong with the act to begin with. In fact, when this story broke last week, unless I missed something, it was not on the nightly news nor was it widely reported anywhere! If it were not for pro-life bloggers like Jill Stanek perhaps nobody would have known about it. That’s just the way it is in the culture of death.
Imagine what would have happened if this grisly discovery had been made during a time when the media actually recognized brutality for what it is and identified those body parts as belonging to human beings rather than being mere garbage! For example, when Hodari commented to the reporters from the Detroit Free Press, he began by showing off brand new trash cans and said he had purchased shredders for documents that contain patient information, not directly addressing remains of children found in the dumpster at all.
He said state investigators had found patient sign-in sheets and that items were improperly tossed by employees. When discussing a blood-soaked sponge he found in "a regular trash can" he said he sent the employee responsible for it home. "It happens," he said.
While the Lathrup Village police continue their investigation into this matter, it would be incumbent upon each one of us who claim to be pro-life to do a couple of things about this tragic "find," especially since we know the same is happening thousands of times every day in facilities all across America.
First, get out those pictures of dead babies and make a conscious decision to use them when you speak to people about abortion. Of course they are hard to look at and gruesome in every way, but they present the shocking truth about abortion. They make the reality of who dies during every single abortion factually perceivable and if those images give someone the chills, or force them to turn their head away, so be it. After 35 years of aborting our future in this nation, the shock value is gone and we have to bring it back. If you think NBC, CBS or ABC will, you are really out of touch with reality. It is up to you and me.
The second thing each of us must do is demand that there be no more compromise within the pro-life community. Every abortion causes the death of a human being. Not a single one should be politically or otherwise excused. Our commitment to the personhood of each and every preborn human being means that there is no such thing as an abortion that can be ignored including those that occur because of a birth control pill or in an in vitro fertilization laboratory. Abortion is an act of direct murder—say so and say it often.
I cannot wait for the time when people like Horrible Hodari are imprisoned for murdering innocent people. You and I can see that that day comes sooner than later … all we have to do is resolve to make the actions I recommend part of every occasion we have to expose abortion with those in our sphere of influence.
You are right Judie! Hodari needs to be in prision! NO ONE SHOULD DEFEND SOMEONE LIKE HIM!

YES, IT REALLY DOES STINK! Posted: Wednesday March 19, 2008 at 9:57 pm EST by Judie Brown
Abortionist George Tiller is in the news, and it appears he is also making the news. When Tiller spoke to the Feminist Majority Foundation’s annual Women’s Leadership Conference, he pointed out that not only does he do late term abortions, but told his audience that he will abort up to the day that is the child’s mother’s scheduled due date. Students for Life of America caught his admissions, and his grotesque fascination with his trade, on video tape. The woman who introduced Tiller to the audience applauded Tiller as someone dedicated to saving the lives and health of women! She identifies Tiller as a hero and calls upon attendees to stand by him and work in support of his needs. You see, Tiller is facing 19 criminal charges at the moment.
Tiller aborts children, specializing in late term abortion. He is one of the most outspoken advocates of late term procedures including the infamous D and X, more commonly known as "partial birth abortion."
Of course, he only performs such abortions he when the "life of the mother" is at risk, or so he claims. At any rate, he has evaded spending time in prison, at least up to now. But nobody knows what will happen when the charges against him are finally heard in a court of law.
What is most appalling about Dr. Tiller is that he is dedicated to child killing and sees it as a work of mercy, not a criminal act of killing. One has to wonder at his logic, because on one hand he kills preborn children who he claims could not live anyway, and on the other he arranges counseling sessions for the mothers whose babies he is going to kill or has already killed. Oh yes, on his website you will find a “chaplaincy” program as well as detailed information on his "services."
In spite of all this, heroic pro-life Americans have stood outside this place where death is the business of the day and they have quietly worked to save babies and their mothers. Mark S. Gietzen of the Kansas Coalition for Life tells us that ever since Mother’s Day 2004 there have been pro-life witnesses in front of that abortion facility, day in and day out, whenever it is open for business. He told me in an email that this means that they have prayed there for 1,408 days, and during that time 321 babies have been saved.
So you can imagine my surprise when Mark also told me that a stink bomb had been tossed at the pro-lifers by Tiller’s personal body guard. And as if that isn’t enough, Tiller is claiming innocence through his defense attorneys! I guess when someone is busy taking innocent human lives for a living, we can expect anything of them, including the random toss of a stink bomb. I am happy to report that on March 20th the case will be heard in small claims court. We are pulling for the pro-lifers and hoping that the "doctor" and his henchmen are found guilty.
If you want to read all about the incident, including the various affidavits that Mark and his collaborators have filed, I recommend a visit to their website.
In view of the stench created by the dead bodies of the children Tiller has willingly killed over the years, perhaps a stink bomb is appropriate. It could just be that after 1,408 days of prayer and public witness the pro-lifers are getting to this man! Who knows?
Our prayers of gratitude go out to the heroic pro-lifers of the Kansas Coalition for Life! Praise God for their valor.
How awful Judie! Tiller needs to be stopped! We pro-lifer's need to do some major butt-kicking!(Hope my term doesn't offend you.)

Christian mothers of America should make a pilgrimage to a place across the street from his fort and say the rosary.
After he goes to prison the fort should be converted to a shrine to remember the persons murdered there, similar to Dacau.
The records should be preserved in order to associate a name with a person murdered. Paul | March 21, 2008

Paul:
You are totally correct, and it is my fervent hope and prayer that when that day comes, those who have survived--especially the parents of those dead children--will resolve to do what it takes so that no one ever forgets the tragic toll of abortion in America.
We must pray for the parents and for this country!
IT'S HOLY WEEK! PROTECT CHRIST FROM SACRILEGE, PLEASE! Posted: Tuesday March 18, 2008 at 7:17 pm EST by Judie Brown
You cannot possibly imagine how grateful I am to God for the most recent comments endorsing enforcement of Catholic Church laws that are designed to protect Christ from sacrilege. I am writing, of course, about Canon Law 915, a Church law stating:
Those who have been excommunicated or interdicted after the imposition or the declaration of a penalty as well as others who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to communion.
We all know there are Catholics in public life these days who flaunt their pro-abortion advocacy while at the same time defying Church officials to deny them Holy Communion. And sadly, many Eucharistic ministers, deacons, priests and yes, even bishops, prefer not to deny the Sacrament but rather to entrust that decision to the conscience of the pro-abortion Catholic!
Well, you can imagine my joy then when I read the interview with Ottawa Canada’s Archbishop Terrence Prendergast. He spoke with LifeSite News about Canon Law 915, and during that interview he said:
What is at issue is whether a politician who does not himself or herself participate in an abortion but supports a ‘woman’s right to choose’ (or however else shows support for abortion) is guilty of grave sin and then obstinately persists in this state of grave sin.
The Archbishop explained, “The Church’s concern is for anyone who persists in grave sin, hoping that medicinal measures (which are how excommunication and interdict are to be understood) may draw them away from the wrong path to the truth of our faith.”
The description of how and why Canon Law 915 should be enforced confirms what we have been saying for the past five years. There is no punishment to be perceived in the denial of the Sacrament to someone who publicly advocates the killing of children by abortion. Rather, by enforcing Canon 915 and explaining to the pro-abortion public figure why he or she may not receive the Sacrament, the hope is that the pro-abortion Catholic will rethink his support for abortion, repent of it and come back into full communion with the teachings of the Church. The good medicine of this Canon law cannot be undervalued.
I often wonder, as I think about the many reasons why so few are willing to enforce Canon Law 915, what they could possibly think they are losing by such enforcement! After all, the saving of the soul of an errant human being is the most vital thing anyone could ever be instrumental in doing, don’t you think? So please take a moment during this Holy Week to pray for every Eucharistic minister, deacon and priest asking the Lord to bless them with the insights they need to save souls by enforcing Canon Law and bringing pro-abortion Catholics in public life back to the fullness of the truth.
So true Judie! Christ's week does need to be protected! And ITA, you can't be pro-abortion and Catholic, or pro-abortion and Christian!
Rock on Judie!
Chantell Chantell | March 18, 2008
Amen Judie! Not only is it sad that there's very little enforcement, but many ministers do not even know the law forbids them from giving Our Lord in Holy Communion to these manifest grave sinners.
Blessed Holy Week! Fr. William J. Kuchinsky | March 18, 2008
Judie,
It hurts my heart, too, that there are lay people who are not politicians, but are pro-choice and think nothing of going up to receive communion.
We actually had a religious ed director allow the Life Teens to collect money for JDRF "because the good they do outweighs" the fact they fund and want us to fund with taxpayer money Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Then when I pointed this out to the pastor, I was accused of causing division in our parish and "doomed" to hell.
I'm just trying to save souls. Is ignorance of what our Catholic faith truly teaches really that widespread?

THE EMOTIONAL BACKLASH OF ABORTION Posted: Monday March 17, 2008 at 4:05 pm EST by Judie Brown
When I read the recent news report from Britain, dealing with the mental illness that can follow a mother’s choice to abort her child, I was grateful beyond words. Finally, I thought, at least one mainstream media source has chosen to admit what so many of us have known for so very long. Abortion not only takes the life of an innocent child, it also wounds that child’s mother.
I will never forget the first time in my life that I met a mother who had aborted her own child. She was actor Anthony Quinn’s first wife, Katherine, who was Cecil B. DeMille’s adopted daughter. Katherine Quinn was a lovely lady who was in her late sixties when I met her. She told me almost immediately after I sat down with her that long ago, at the urging of Mr. Quinn, she had aborted their child. She said that she did not know why after all these years she had confided in me. However she went on to admit that she had been in agony over the death of that child and could never really face the fact that she had agreed to the abortion. She suffered terribly even though she and Quinn went on to have four children, one of whom drowned in a swimming pool at the age of four.
I will never forget the sadness in her eyes and the way she looked at me as she talked of the pain of this "secret" in her life. It was truly one of the most heart wrenching conversations I have ever had with anyone.
Years after that when I decided to attend a Rachel’s Vineyard retreat in New Jersey I once again witnessed the pain and agony that mothers experience who have chosen, whether freely or under pressure, to abort a child of their own. The emotional reaction of these mothers is beyond any words I can ever put on paper.
So when I read the headlines in the British newspaper, the Sunday Times, I said a silent prayer of thanks. Finally, the secular world is beginning to admit the cruel truth that mothers who abort their babies do suffer in many ways. The Royal College of Psychiatrists is now stating that "women should not be allowed to have an abortion until they are counseled on the possible risk to their mental health."
First of all, it seems to me that the Royal College would be doing everyone a huge favor if they chose their words with better specificity. After all, the “women” they are discussing are actually mothers. The reality is that if a particular mother chooses to have an abortion she is still the mother of a child. The difference is that she is the mother of a dead child instead of a living child. Perhaps if there were greater honesty regarding the language that is used, a whole lot fewer mothers would wind up suffering in the aftermath of the abortion choice.
The pro-abortion forces have told the public for years that the risk of mental health is far greater for the mother who carries her "unwanted" baby to term than for the "woman" who has an abortion. But the facts challenge such declarations. As anyone who has had a baby knows, there is a time during pregnancy when doubts arise, hormones rage and frequently bouts of moodiness ensue. This is all part of the blessing of pregnancy. While some might suggest that these "moods" are the result of a female carrying an "unwanted" baby, the fact is that with love and time those moods quickly disappear. The hormones get into sync and the mood swings give way to the joys of being with child.
These facts of life are not usually admitted by those who market abortion. The culture of death has attempted to build a wall of silence around any negative consequences of abortion, claiming over and over again that pregnancy is far worse on the mother than abortion could ever be. But now, thanks to the recent statement of the Royal College, perhaps that wall will begin to crumble.
One of the most interesting statements in this news story was made by Dr. Peter Saunders of the Christian Medical Fellowship, who said, "How can a doctor now justify an abortion on mental health grounds if psychiatrists are questioning whether there is any clear evidence that continuing with the pregnancy leads to mental health problems."
You are righ Judie! Thank God, they are finally telling the truth!
You Roc, Judie!

MUTILATED BODIES FOUND IN DUMPSTER Posted: Saturday March 15, 2008 at 11:44 am EST by Judie Brown
Normally I do not use my blog to quote an entire commentary from another source, but this is so tragic, so vile, so very evil, I have no choice other than to share the despicable acts of a single abortionist who was literally caught dumping bodies as though they were nothing more than soiled tissue paper. The following report comes from Rock for Life :
Dumpster dive at abortion clinic yields horrific find
Over the course of a month, pro-lifers involved with Citizens for a Pro-Life Society have run an organized campaign of snatching bags of trash from WomanCare clinic in Lathrup, Michigan. WomanCare is part of a chain of six abortion clinics run by abortionist Alberto Hodari. The CPLS investigation yielded a horrific find: unshredded medical records, improperly disposed biological waste and the remains of several aborted children! The group alerted the police, who raided the clinic dumpster on Monday, using hazardous materials gear to haul away the blood-soaked trash bags.
Dr. Monica Miller, who organized the CPLS dumpster investigation, says she has been digging through abortion clinic dumpsters for years to rescue the remains of aborted babies and ensure that they are given a proper burial. She has been given a guarantee by the local police that they will allow her to bury the aborted babies who were recently removed. Because no one told her to stay off the property, she will not be charged for going through the dumpsters on private property. Below is the report Dr. Miller made to the police, provided courtesy of the Catholic Pro-Life Committee:
Milissa and I began investigating the dumpster behind the WomanCare facility Friday, February 8, 2008.
What we found that Friday were patient records and open condom wrappers.
By looking through these documents we learned patients’ names, phone numbers, addresses, ages, how long their pregnancy had lasted, what they were being seen by the doctor for, insurance forms, methods of payment, and several lab reports. We also discovered in the trash used syringes, ultrasound pictures of the babies, dozens of used drug vials, several used IV bags with the sharps still attached, bloody absorbent paper, open condom wrappers, used condoms, and bloody used laminaria.
On our third trash investigation we also found bloody canulas and human tissue distinguishably not a baby, except this time we also discovered infant body parts, including arms, hands, legs, feet, a spine, a ribcage, and eyes.
We estimate we found at least ten different infants. Each one was wrapped in a bloody gauze, tied at the end. Once you turned these inside out, you would find the infant parts. Each bloody gauze that was filled with an infant was wrapped in the absorbent paper used to cover the operating table which was soaked in blood, and used, bloody, latex gloves.
While Hodari purports to keep patient information confidential, obviously this is a lie. Hodari has killed women while performing abortions, has failed to report statutory rape and was caught on video telling a group of students at Wayne State University that doctors have a license to lie to their patients.
We applaud Dr. Miller and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society. Their actions have brought dignity to the remains of the children killed by Hodari and have shown the nation that abortionists are not the kind, compassionate people Planned Parenthood and the rest of Big Abortion want you to believe they are. Bravo, team!

You'd think that they'd at least shred the records, and as for the poor babies, that's just wrong. And probably a health hazard.

WHO-VILLE Posted: Thursday March 13, 2008 at 5:54 pm EST by Judie Brown
As a young Mom, one of my most favorite times of the day was the hour or so I spent reading to our children. We learned all sorts of things together and we met some of the most interesting characters you could ever hope to encounter. Among them was the inimitable Horton, the elephant who valiantly fought to defend the citizens of WHO-VILLE. Each small speck of dust was actually a resident of this tiny town, and each was known as a WHO! You probably know this story quite well.
And perhaps you recall Horton’s most famous line: "A person is a person, no matter how small!" That story and that single line have stuck with me for more than 40 years now. And, as you can guess, those three adorable little children who heard that story read to them and later insisted on reading it to me, now have a collection of ten children of their own and the reading tradition has continued.
So has the emphasis on Horton’s profound line. This is why we are so elated that upon the premier of the new movie, Horton Hears a Who, scheduled for tomorrow, March 14th, pro-lifers will be celebrating that wonderful elephant and his very special message. This is particularly so in Colorado, where a personhood initiative is currently being pursued and thousands of signatures are being collected. Tomorrow in Denver there will be a special event hosted by the Colorado for Equal Rights leader, Kristi Burton as she focuses our attention on the wisdom of that special pachyderm. In fact we hope she reminds her listeners that the same wisdom should translate to personal conviction on the part of every single human being who has ever been conceived.
Note I did say “should.” We know, of course, that this is not the case and that this is but one reason why more than 3,000 preborn children will die tomorrow. Abortion has become the tool used to destroy the smallest members of the human family much like the devious plots the Wickersham brothers as they plotted for ways to eliminate the entire population of Who-ville by silencing Horton once and for all. Remember these words from the book:
But, Just as he spoke to the Mayor of the speck,
Three big jungle monkeys climbed up Horton’s neck!
The Wickersham Brothers came shouting, "What rot!
This elephants talking to Whos who are not!
There aren’t any Whos! And they don’t have a Mayor!
And we’re going to stop all this nonsense! So there!"
The Wickersham Brothers did not want to admit the presence of the Who people so they simply denied that they were there. Today, because of the tyrannical decisions of the United States Supreme Court, the pro-abortion cartel behaves in precisely the same way. They shout that nobody is there during pregnancy. They cajole and deride the thousands of pro-life Americans who insist that a human being’s life begins at the beginning, even though he is smaller than the head of a pin.
One can only hope, over the course of time, that the monkeys who pretend to be acutely in tune with reproductive health will be exposed as the intellectual frauds they truly are, much as the Wickersham brothers were in the end of the tale about Horton and his beloved Whos.
Until then, let’s not avoid one opportunity to focus on personhood, talk about personhood and teach our fellow human beings that “a person is a person, no matter how small!”
After watching the movie, my 3 year old had that line stuck in her head "a person is a person no matter how small" and she kept saying it the rest of the day. This movie will plant many seeds and will be an ally in restoring the culture of life! Thanks Judie for this post. Keith | March 14, 2008
PROMISCUITY IS DANGEROUS--SHOCKING NEW STATISTICS PROVE IT Posted: Wednesday March 12, 2008 at 9:48 pm EST by Judie Brown
Headlines across the nation declared “1 in 4 teen Girls has STD.” What this means is that of every four teenage girls in America at this very moment, one will suffer from at least one, if not more than one, sexually transmitted disease.
My first reaction to this is the same reaction I have had every time I have seen such reports over the past twenty years. That is, “What do you expect when you place the fox in the chicken coop?”
When parents are encouraged to inoculate their preteens against the sexually transmitted disease known as human papillomavirus, when kindergarten children are exposed to comic book characters who represent condoms and when any child can sit in front of a television set at any hour of the day and watch inappropriate commercials—not to mention programming—what in the world should we expect? The discussion of sexual relations has become a topic that is no more off limits than choosing the kind of breakfast cereal you want to have, whether you are five or 50 years of age.
And the culprit—or should I say the chief architect of this sad state of affairs—is none other than Planned Parenthood. But wait! Planned Parenthood is crying wolf! They claim that the reason for this horrifying statistic is abstinence education! Oh really?
Planned Parenthood and its cronies have had easy access to children of all ages ever since I got involved in the pro-life movement nearly 40 years ago. One of the reasons we moved to rural Virginia 32 years ago was to avoid “sex education.” At the time we had three young children. But today sex indoctrination courses are everywhere and the resulting difficulties facing parents are overwhelming even when their children are entrusted to private schools.
It is only in the recent past that we pro-lifers have finally begun to see some strong opposition to the smut. The organized protests are coming forth from parents and educators trained in the ways to stop Planned Parenthood by the staff of American Life League’s Stop Planned Parenthood International. But after more than 40 years of having Planned Parenthood entrenched in every single government program that has anything at all to do with educating our children, the current battle is a typical David and Goliath struggle.
These most recent statistics are but one testimony to that sad reality. The most recent study from the Centers for Disease Control shows clearly that HPV, chlamydia and herpes are the main culprits with 15% of teens having more than one of these. One spokesperson from Girls Inc. claims that young women are “having sex when they’re slightly younger and, because they’re having sex at a lot younger age, they are having more than one partner.”
So, you might wonder, what is her recommendation? How would she solve this reality? The experts quoted in the article say that parents need to take this information seriously and ensure that their young daughters are “screened and taught about prevention and protection.”
In other words, even with the devastating news reported in this study, those in public policy positions are going to suggest more of the same. You see, “prevention and protection” are code words for condoms, birth control pills, injections and all manner of tools that will provide the sexually active teenager with the equipment needed to continue on the radical course of sexual activity outside of marriage. Nary a word about purity or chastity will be found in a single news report about this latest study . . . except of course to point the accusatory finger at those who promote virtue.
While the pharmaceutical houses and the condom production businesses like Planned Parenthood must be licking their chops as they prepare for even higher sales, people like me are saddened beyond words. Our children have become the victims of America’s sexually saturated culture, a culture where kids have grown accustomed to living with only one parent, and where many of these same children see multiple boyfriends or girlfriends in their own home.
Where once there was a special chair for grandpa when he came to visit, today there is a special couch for the latest date. Do you think that could be part of the problem? I certainly do!
As Frank Joseph, M.D. emailed after he reviewed the latest reports, “As one of the most famous equations by Einstein is E = MC2, so also is the following equation of the utmost importance and more easily understood: More condoms = more sex = more STDs and pregnancies. This equation has stood the test of time. It is irrefutable.”
The only recommended course of action facing us today is the same course of action that has been with us for all time: Save sex for marriage and in the interim be pure in thought and chaste in action. And of course, when such a course is chosen, chastity within marriage becomes just as easy and perhaps that is why among couples who entrust their fertility to God within marriage, less than two percent will ever have to face divorce and all the pain that flows from it.
Oh, and there is a final note on this subject! As Catholics here at American Life League we know the pain and heartache that accompany the sad outcomes many face because they never heard a word about Church teaching in matters of sexuality from the very pulpits upon which every Catholic should be able to rely for declarations of truth and love. The silence of those pulpits is frequently deafening. And as Father Tom Euteneuer, President of Human Life International, has written:
Priestly silence about contraception has eternal consequences. The price of that silence is the loss of souls.
This is terrible! Of course Planned Parenthood would blame the abstinance education! You tell Plannedparenthood, NARAL, NAF, NOW, etc, what you think of them!
Rock on Judie!

I wouldn't say "suffer" is the best word to describe all STIs. That is the problem- many girls don't realize they have one which is the reason this needs to be addressed. Cora | March 13, 2008

Indeed, you are correct, but when they do discern the problem or it is diagnosed they do suffer terribly, not only physically but emotionally as well.

This kind of (your favorite impolite synonym for feces here) is to be expected from PP and the other abortionists. That's why we're here, though, to make sure this load o' junk doesn't go any further than those reports. Isaac K. | March 13, 2008
Yes Judie! We will all rock on!

Judie, I used to think your views were too extreme in the pro-life movement. I was wrong. Your goals may be unrealistic, but you couldn't be more right. You are the "Real McCoy" of the pro-life movement from what I've seen. Thank you for fighting the fight! 100% PRO-LIFE. NO COMPROMISE! Sam | March 14, 2008
Dear Sam:
Thank you fro the compliment, but the glory and honor for anything good we do is the Lord's!
100% is the only way to go!

How awful Judie! This has to stop. I think I read of that Wome's care clinic, being responsible for a woman's death. They need to be stopped! With God's help we will. By the way, is it okay to be Christian on here, even if you aren't Catholic? I'm Christian, but I'm Evangelical, and attend the Assembaly of God church. Is that alright?
Chantell Chantell | March 16, 2008
Dear Chantell:
The fact that you are a Christian and I am a Catholic Christian is a blessing! Our best friends in our pro-life work are all Christians--among them are many Catholics.
God be with you.

Umm.....Why is PP blaming abstinince programs? If you don't have sex, you're not at risk, period. Emmie K. | March 21, 2008
