CBS Oregon to Air Explosive Report on Pornographic Youth Education

American Life League’s Undercover Investigation Led to Shocking Discovery

Washington, DC—KOIN, the CBS affiliate in Portland, is set to air its special investigative report “Triple X-Rated Education” Tuesday at 11pm. This report will expose the Oregon Adolescent Sexuality Conference and its pornographic sex education forced on area children. Planned Parenthood is on the steering committee of the annual Oregon ASC.

“I felt really horrified and unsettled by it all,” says a student on the KOIN report trailer. “A conference intended to teach kids as young as 11 about safe sex, but you won’t believe what they’re learning,” the commentator continues.

A local watchdog group, Parents’ Rights in Education, has had its eye on the Oregon Adolescent Sexuality Conference and the XXX-rated presentations and materials being peddled to and by schoolchildren there for several years. In 2013, the group asked Rita Diller, director of American Life League’s STOPP Planned Parenthood International, to attend the conference and see for herself what was being promoted to children. Diller says she came away scarred. “I monitor Planned Parenthood sex education on a regular basis and I have seen some unbelievably horrifying situations that young people are put in because of the abortion giant’s fixation with sexualizing children, but never have I seen so many adults work so hard to defile young people than at this conference,” she said. “It is blatant child abuse.”

Several parents attended on behalf of the investigative effort and brought out materials that matched and expanded on the cache that Diller brought out in 2013. Those materials are now up on the website of Parents’ Rights in Education for the world to see.

Also on the website are some videos from the 2014 conference. One of them shows a presentation where a teen boy blows up a condom, lubricates it, and performs a simulated sex act with it while adult sponsors and teens laugh. The trailer for the KOIN exposé is also linked on the website.

American Life League president, Judie Brown, stated, “Planned Parenthood continues to receive funding at taxpayer expense and uses this money to shove pornographic material down the throats of our children. Congress must defund Planned Parenthood immediately.”

American Life League’s ‘ALL Report’ to Get New Look

Washington, DC—Judie Brown, president of American Life League, announced today that ALL’s popular video series, the American Life League Report, will get a new look in 2015 and will publish on a regular monthly schedule.

“The ALL Report has been a wonderful communications tool for American Life League,” said Brown. “Our 2012 episode ‘Hooking Kids on Sex’ was reported on by Andrew Breitbart, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Laura Ingraham, and is still featured in our efforts in fighting Planned Parenthood.”

“Michael Hichborn has been the host of the ALL Report since its inception,” continued Brown, “and has recently decided to leave American Life League to pursue other interests. We are taking this opportunity to evaluate what has been working and to set a direction for 2015 that will continue to make the ALL Report relevant as we move into the last half of this decade.”

“We appreciate all that Michael has contributed to American Life League over the last seven years,” Brown concluded, “and we wish him the best in his new undertakings.”

Commenting on his decision to leave, Hichborn said, “I am so thankful to Judie and American Life League for the opportunity to work for the end of abortion for these past seven years. Making the decision to leave ALL after all these years was very difficult and emotional, but I know that God is leading the way.”

In addition to hosting the ALL Report, Hichborn was also the longtime director of ALL’s Defend the Faith project. Through this project, Hichborn became known for his research of Catholic Relief Services, the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, and Catholic Charities USA. Hichborn is launching a new endeavor called The Lepanto Institute to continue these and other similar investigations. The Lepanto Institute is scheduled to open later this year.

ALL Celebrates Closing of Planned Parenthood’s Rapid City Facility

Washington, DC—Planned Parenthood announced the closing of its Rapid City facility effective December 5, according to a report from the Rapid City Journal. Planned Parenthood’s only other South Dakota facility is located in Sioux Falls.

“Planned Parenthood’s announcement that it is closing its Rapid City, South Dakota, facility was met with great joy in our office,” said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. “The pro-lifers in Rapid City were innovators in their effort against Planned Parenthood, and now the evil organization is gone.”

Planned Parenthood publicly announced its intentions to open a clinic in Rapid City in 1989. Reaction of the local community was swift as the residents did not want the abortion giant in their town. Jim Sedlak, founder of STOPP and currently vice president of American Life League, traveled to Rapid City that year to be part of a huge outdoor rally opposing the proposed new clinic. In 1991, STOPP held its second national conference on Planned Parenthood in Rapid City.

Archbishop Charles Chaput spoke at the conference and later stated,

In 1991, as bishop of Rapid City, South Dakota, I had personal experience with Planned Parenthood seeking to intrude itself into western South Dakota. I spoke at a STOPP national convention in Rapid City. In my talk, I noted that Planned Parenthood is “not a friend of the family. . . . It is a pro-abortion organization with a set of values vastly different from the values of Jesus Christ.” I would certainly reaffirm that conviction today. Planned Parenthood is an organization based on falsehoods about the human person, the family, and community life. I would urge any community today, as I did in 1991, to defend itself against Planned Parenthood by every legal and ethical means at its disposal.

The combined effect of all this activity was to delay the opening of the PP facility until 1995.

“Over the course of the last 20 years, I was honored to be invited back to Rapid City a number of times and to be in regular contact with the leaders in the fight against Planned Parenthood,” said Sedlak. “All of us at American Life League join in the celebration of Planned Parenthood’s exit.”

American Life League: What is the Real War on Women?

Planned Parenthood kills over 400 girls each day

Washington, DC—In a [blog=14360/]recently released commentary[/blog], American Life League president Judie Brown identified abortion as the real war on women. Furthermore, a video released by ALL today depicts the astounding damage caused by abortion since 1973.

“Over 40 years have passed since the United States Supreme Court decriminalized the killing of preborn children,” said Judie Brown. “And few consider the actual body count. Few contemplate the suffering and death of more than 60 million children, at least half of whom are baby girls.”

Brown further noted that Planned Parenthood is responsible for the deaths of 410 girls each day.

Alongside Brown’s commentary, ALL is releasing a video that visualizes the staggering nature of the numbers. Brown stated, “When I first saw this video, I was moved to tears. I cried at the sight of innumerable crosses covering rolling hills and plains. It made the cemeteries of Normandy and Arlington look miniscule.”

She continued, “These beautiful, innocent babies were all condemned to death by their mothers. And more than half of these graves are occupied by female children. Now, I said aloud, that is the real war on women.”

Judie Brown’s [blog=14360/]commentary[/blog] and ALL’s new video can be found at www.all.org.

Who Will Speak for Brittany Maynard’s Life?

President of American Life League issues statement

Washington, DC—Judie Brown, president of American Life League, spoke out today regarding Brittany Maynard’s planned suicide:

The hype is everywhere. A multitude of news stories, a segment on 60 Minutes, and a multi-page spread in People magazine are all celebrating Brittany Maynard’s decision to kill herself on November 1. But who is telling her the truth?
Yes, Brittany has a very touching, yet tragic, tale to tell about her terminal brain cancer, but she has an opportunity to witness to a faith in God and a submission to His will for her life. This acceptance could be a shining example to her generation that life is precious and we all need to use every moment we have to give love and encouragement to others in similar situations. Instead, she is delivering one message: When the going gets tough, give up.

Brittany has now been victimized twice—first by the cancer, and now by those in society who will have facilitated her death and even pressed for it by various methods and self-interests. Those who mistakenly proclaim that a human being is in complete control of his own life when it is well known that the Bible confirms that man is created in the image of God. Therefore, an attack on an innocent human being with the intention of ending that person’s life—even by the person herself—is a direct attack on God Himself.

This is the truth that Brittany needs to hear. We pray that, in these final days, Brittany finds Christ, reaches out for His caring hand, and learns the joy that comes from giving one’s life completely to the Creator and accepting whatever happens with a true resignation to His will. And from that new knowledge may Brittany proclaim: I will not go quietly into the night! I will not vanish without a fight! I’m going to live on! I’m going to survive! I will live every minute of every day until God calls me home!

      American Life League Supports
      Ebola Vaccine Call to Action

Washington, DC—Judie Brown, president of American Life League, issued a statement today asking all concerned citizens to support the “call to action” of ALL’s Associate Group Children of God for Life.

“It is absolutely outrageous that a scientist would consider using aborted fetal cell lines in manufacturing any Ebola vaccine,” said Brown. “We call on every person who values the life of every human being to take the action COGFL has asked in the release it sent out today.”

Below is the text of the COGFL release:

ACTION ALERT! Developing Ebola vaccines use aborted fetal cell lines: Moral options exist

(Largo, FL) Children of God for Life announced today that several Ebola vaccines in development for use worldwide are made using aborted fetal cell lines despite the fact that moral alternatives are reported as equally effective.

Glaxo SmithKline (GSK) and NIAID are jointly developed their ChAd3 vector for delivering the Ebola virus gene using HEK-293 (human embryonic kidney) cells. Likewise, NewLink Genetics of Iowa used HEK-293 cells for its VSV-EBOV Ebola vaccine in Canada, while Johnson and Johnson/Crucell developed theirs using PER C6 cells, derived from retinal tissue of an 18 week gestation aborted baby.

“There is absolutely no reason to use aborted fetal cell lines,” stated Debi Vinnedge, director of Children of God for Life. “At least two other Ebola vaccines in development by the University of Texas and GeoVax are using either Vero cells or chicken eggs. Likewise, there are therapeutic products such as ZMapp (LeafBio) and TKM-Ebola (Tekmira) that are using plant or Vero cells.”

Vinnedge wrote to the Department of HHS, the NIH, the FDA, and NIAID pointing out that even the US Department of Health listed other options such as yeast, insect, plant, bacteria, CHO, BHK, heLa and COS cells, in its own patent, stating, “The attenuated [Ebola] virus can replicate well in a cell line that lacks interferon functions, such as Vero cells.”

“It is completely irresponsible of this administration to put these problem vaccines on fast-track for approval and ignore the fact that a massive number of people may very well refuse them. Why not fast track a product that everyone can use in good conscience?” asked Vinnedge.

Children of God for Life is urging the public to contact US government agencies and their members of Congress requesting that they expedite the morally acceptable alternatives.

ALL: American Media Does Not Understand the Catholic Church

Washington, DC—“It is clear from the near hysteria of the last two days that the media in the US has no knowledge of Church procedures,” said Judie Brown, president of American Life League.

“A preliminary report of discussions in a meeting of 200 bishops is being treated as a proclamation of Church teaching. What is happening in Rome is just part of the normal discussion that is always taking place within the Church. There has been no new proclamation and absolutely no change in Church teaching,” Brown continued.

The current discussions are expected to last for another year and, even then, may not result in any statement from the Church.

Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League, stated, “Current pundits might do well to remember the 1960s when a papal study group recommended the Church allow the use of the birth control pill. Not only was that recommendation rejected by Pope Paul VI, he even issued an encyclical condemning all birth control use by Catholics.”

Paul VI will be beatified in Rome this Sunday and the synod fathers gave firm support to his landmark encyclical Humanae Vitae in several presentations.

Judie Brown issued a commentary Tuesday explaining what has and has not happened at the synod. This commentary can be viewed [blog=14320/]here[/blog].

Planned Parenthood Losing at the Synod

Washington, DC—“The fact that Planned Parenthood is an enemy of the Catholic Church is being made clearer with each passing day of the synod in Rome,” said Judie Brown, president of American Life League.

Although transcripts of individual presentations at the synod are not being made public, the Vatican Information Service is releasing a summary of what was discussed at each of the sessions.

“Those summaries are painting a clear picture of a synod that has no intention of kowtowing to Planned Parenthood’s philosophies,” Brown continued. “Instead, it is clear that the Church’s teachings on abortion, contraception, and pre-marital sex are being reinforced.”

Jim Sedlak, vice president of ALL, cited a couple of examples:

In one session last week, it was reported: “With regard to children, the negative impact of contraception on society and resulting decline in the birth rate was underlined. It was remarked that Catholics should not remain silent in relation to this issue, but should instead bring a message of hope: Children are important, they bring life and joy to their parents, and they reinforce faith and religious practices.” This sentiment flies in the face of Planned Parenthood’s contraceptive mentality and population control philosophy.

In another session, Planned Parenthood’s worst fears were realized as the synod reflected on the need for “an invitation to the faithful to deepen their knowledge of Paul VI’s encyclical, Humanae Vitae, thus better understanding the meaning of the use of natural methods of fertility control and the non-acceptance of contraception.”

“As our campaign to have Planned Parenthood declared an enemy of the Church gains momentum, we are heartened by the discussion at the synod,” Brown concluded.
