Duty To Die

She's a feminist, she's a patron of the British Family Planning Association, she's a BBC radio announcer, and she's angry.

That's what I learned when I read about Jenni Murray, who feels that she is trapped into caring for her mother who is ill with Parkinson's disease.

BBC said, in preparation for Jenni's appearing on the network to discuss her views, "Jenni is angry that, having fought so hard to become liberated and independent, women are now being trapped into caring for dependent parents."

This is one of the most appalling comments I have read lately. It reflects the absolute reality of the worldview these days that God is dead. After all, we live in a culture saturated with "it's all about me" and terribly lacking in Christ-like love.
