    • Q:
    • Why are states that enforce schools to teach abstinence only more likely to have higher teen pregnancy rates and STDs?
    • A:
    • Alex
The facts that you are asking about regarding abstinence education and pregnancy rates are disputed by many.  For example the National Abstinence Education Assocation website http://www.abstinenceassociation.org and the following article:
      https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/not-used-up-progress-in-abstinence-education
      and

    • My niece is considering being a surrogate mother for a couple unable to conceive. I'm disturb about this, but don't know what to do, except pray.

    • Linda
It is important that your niece understand the moral implications to what she is considering.  Perhaps she should read this article on the subject by Monsignor Charles Pope:

    • Q:
    • Has the CCHD cleaned up its act? The collection is next weekend.
    • A:
    • Leonard

To the best of our knowledge, the answer to your question is no.  In fact we just read this from Lepanto Institute:

CCHD Director is approving Catholic funds for an organization he sits on the board of!  Outrageous for sure.

    • Q:
    • Can I give to cchd and know that my donation will not fund anti-Catholic charities?
    • A:
    • Marilyn

Sadly my answer is no.  Hopefully one day CCHD will be totally free of support for groups that undermine Catholic teaching.

This is truly tragic and we are praying for the young man and his family.  What a tragedy

    • Q:
    • Kiwanis have partnered with UNICEF, GAVI, BMGF and WHO to adm tetanus vaccines in Africa. The program in Kenya is under scrutiny since sterilizing HCG was found by Catholic leaders. Comments?
    • A:
    • Renee

The sad fact is that most of the groups/organizations with whih KIWANIS has partnered are big into population control as the way to "solve" poverty.

American Life League will be updating our Charities reports to reflect this.

Why are all the articles in small print an strung out edge to edge in tight paragraphs ?
Do you know some of us people are getting old and have to use glasses?
    • A:

I am told that every computer has a browser setting that allows you to magnify the type on a website you are reading.  Please try that out; we hope it works for you.

    • Q:
    • HI Judie, why should I vote for Republicans like prolifers suggest when they are on TV saying that they are pro choice and a womens right to choose? I did not vote this time, because I got disgusted.
    • A:
    • Suzy

Don't vote PARTY ... always a bad idea.  I do not agree with those pro-lifers who make silly claims about Republicans who can be as bad as the Dems.

Vote the character of the individual, not party.

    • Q:
    • You say "there are good, ethical, and moral democrats," but that seems logically impossible. Please explain.
    • A:
    • Dear Anonymous

We do not label people by party but rather by the principles they uphold.  I think you should check out Democrats for Life of America to see what I mean.
