ADVISORY: Personhood Activists to Gather at Supreme Court for Pro-Life Memorial Day by Katie Walker Released October 1, 2009

WHAT: On the eve of the Supreme Court’s new session, human rights activists will gather in Washington, D.C. and around the country memorializing the 51 million victims of abortion and calling for Constitutional recognition of all human beings from their creation.
WHEN: Sunday, 04 October 2009, 6 p.m.
WHERE: In front of the U.S. Supreme Court building Washington, D.C. 20543
WHO: American Life League’s Rock for Life, music by sisters Emily & Anna Weisband
WHY: As personhood initiatives from Florida to California reveal the growing national movement demanding human rights for all human beings, activists will gather in Washington, D.C. and around the country to memorialize the 51 million victims of the ultimate human rights abuse since the infamous Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton Supreme Court decisions.
“When the Court gets back in session Oct. 5, they will face a nation crippled by the most egregious human rights abuse the country has ever seen,” said Erik Whittington, director of American Life League’s Rock for Life project.
“The Court’s 36-year denial of the personhood of entire classes of human being is a national atrocity and we will wait, pray and act for the day when the law recognizes the intent of the writers of the Constitution of the United States recognizes – that all human beings are persons!”
The vigil outside the Supreme Court will feature prayer, testimonies and worship music by sisters Emily and Anna Weisband.
