IPPF issues horrendous ‘sexual rights’ declaration

International Planned Parenthood Federation has issued a horrendous document entitled Sexual Rights: an IPPF Declaration. It separates “reproductive rights” from “sexual rights” and declares, “The entitlement to experience and enjoy sexuality independent of reproduction, and reproduction independent of sexuality should be safeguarded, paying particular attention to those who… are denied such an entitlement.” To view the document, click here.

The Sexual Rights declaration further claims that “sexual rights, as other human rights, may be subject only to those limitations determined by law for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and the general welfare in a democratic society, public health and public order, according to human rights law.” It also goes as far as saying that states have a legal obligation “to respect, protect and fulfill the sexual rights of all.”

Look for our special STOPP Report on this ungodly document next week.

PP wants to open next to elementary school

Planned Parenthood’s desire to open a new facility next to an elementary school in Pasco, Washington, is highly disturbing to area residents. Fliers warning of PP’s intentions have been delivered to those who live near 3901 W.  Court Street, a former real estate office that PP hopes to move into.

As mentioned on tricityherald.com, the proposed PP facility would be only 60 to 80 feet south of the school’s playing field, with a crosswalk providing access from the school to the facility.

The plan to move into the predominantly Hispanic, low-income area reflects PP’s philosophy of targeting minorities and the economically disadvantaged.  The fact that the site chosen for the facility is near an elementary school comes as no surprise, since PP peddles its sex education programs to children as young as those in pre-kindergarten.

PP is not good for the neighborhood!

Tomorrow, on June 18, Planned Parenthood will participate in the Good for the Neighborhood event in Niagara Falls, New York, which will provide free health and safety information to families.  Thus, during an event at which children will receive free bicycle helmets and safety lessons from the fire department, they could also receive information from the nation’s largest abortion chain.

And how ironic, since PP is certainly not good for the neighborhood!  In fact, PP has two abortion facilities in Niagara Falls. The PP center at 6951 Williams Road is a surgical abortion office, and there is a regular pro-life presence outside its doors. Its other facility, located at 732 Portage Road, is a medical abortion office, meaning that one can obtain the “abortion pill” regimen there.

Good for the Neighborhood is sponsored by the Independent Health Foundation. Its web site states,

The Good for the Neighborhood program brings healthy living training and tools to assist people in managing and improving their own health. Good for the Neighborhood partners with community based leaders and organizations in Western New York neighborhoods where access to healthcare is limited due to social and economic barriers.

The event will take place at the Doris W. Jones Family Resource Building, located at 3001 Ninth Street, from 6 to 8 p.m.

We encourage you to call the Independent Health Foundation (716-635-4959) and ask it to cancel PP’s participation in the Good for the Neighborhood program.

Watch out, men! PP is after you, too!

Planned Parenthood seeks to expand its male customer base through publicity stunts such as celebrating Valentine’s Day as “National Condom Day,” celebrating the week of Valentine’s Day as “National Condom Week” and even celebrating the entire month of February as “National Condom Month.”

Now, Planned Parenthood Federation of America is trying to attract more males by advertising the week of June 15–21 as Men’s Health Week and pushing “services” such as vasectomy.

PP also pushes graphic sex education books such as It’s Perfectly Normal to male and female children as young as 10 years of age.

Two PP affiliates to merge

As Planned Parenthood announced last year, PP of Rhode Island and PP of Connecticut
will be merged into PP of Southern New England as early as July.

This is good news! Mergers often occur because of the affiliates’ inability to grow financially, resulting in the closure of one or more facilities. PP had already closed an express clinic in Providence, Rhode Island.

The merger will leave only one PP clinic in the state of Rhode Island and 18 in Connecticut. May we all continue to work hard to educate our local communities about the evils of PP.  When the truth is revealed, PP loses even more customers and more PP clinics will close!
