Planned Parenthood’s latest attempt to make condoms “fashionable”
Planned Parenthood is really trying to get more money from the American people and is trying to get more and more young people to engage in promiscuous lifestyles through its disgusting attempt in making condoms fashionable. Apparently, coming in dead last in a consumer report doesn’t look very good and PP is trying to make condoms more appealing despite its failure rates and emotional, physical and spiritual side effects that it has on couples who have sex outside of marriage or contracept within the covenant of marriage.
As we mentioned last year in the February 8 edition of the WSR, PP is targeting young women with new condoms called “Proper Attire.” What PP fails to realize is that women are tired of being used as sexual objects. PP is still trying to lure women with the idea that it will empower them. How foolish this idea really is! On February 14, Valentine’s Day, with its big push of National Condom Day, PP came out with a new “collection” of condoms designed by New York’s fashion designer, Alexander Wang.
Along with a new “collection” of condoms, PP also has T-shirts for sale with certain designs and logos that refer to the “Proper Attire” condoms with different immodest phrases. After a year of coming out with “Proper Attire” condoms, PP’s list of locations where these condoms can be found is growing, however, with more word from us – the pro-life, pro-chaste activists – we can fight this culture of death and win!
After all, as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Consumer magazine printed in its September 1990 edition, “The only sure ways to avoid sexual transmission of diseases (including AIDS, Chlamydia, genital herpes, genital warts, gonorrhea, hepatitis B, and syphilis) are not to have sex at all or to limit sex to one uninfected partner who is also monogamous.”
Save yourself for marriage. Don’t “buy” into the lies of PP; continue to fight this disgusting and evil agenda!
PP offers e-condoms on Facebook
PP of Los Angeles has now infected Facebook, a networking web tool that people of all ages use to keep in touch, with an application titled, “You’re Protected!” As most PP affiliates kicked off National Condom Day/Week, it is pushing its “Proper Attire” condoms that were mentioned above. PP is also attempting to invade young people with the technology we use today.
By going to this application online, you can see how PP is attempting to infect our young people with the idea that passing around e-condoms is fun! This is another attempt to desensitize our young people. PP understands that more and more young people are using this online web tool since it is a place for young people to post pictures, write stories, post articles, and play games with their friends. Now, while promoting its own material, people of all ages can pass along pretend condoms online, thus assisting PP in the attempt to get more customers.
Money, money, money…can you hear the song? More business tactics from the largest abortion chain in America.
What can you do? One thing is to continue to spread the message of chastity. One clever way of doing this is by signing up for a free account and log into Facebook yourself! Start using the technology that our young people are using so we can communicate the pro-life and chastity messages to them! While you’re there, look for American Life League’s page as well as many other projects that are a part of ALL. Examples: The Pill Kills and Rock for Life.
40 Days for Life starts in one week!
On Wednesday, February 25, the spring 40 Days for Life campaign will begin. This time, 40 Days for Life will cover more than 130 communities in the United States, Canada, Australia and Northern Ireland.
STOPP was told by 40 Days officials that 67 vigils would be taking place outside PP facilities. Thank you to all those who will be participating in these prayerful vigils and may your witness help save many lives and close down these killing centers!
For a full list of locations, visit http://www.40daysforlife.com/location.cfm.
For all those who may be unable to participate, please continue to pray to end abortion.
TV show will discuss Susan G. Komen and PP
An episode of Facing Life Head-On will air on cable television stations during the week of March 8. The episode titled “Komen’s Dark Side” covers the relationship between Susan G. Komen for the cure and PP and the link between abortion and breast cancer.
As many of our STOPPers know, Susan G. Komen for the cure, an organization that works to fight breast cancer does in fact support PP, the largest abortion chain in the U.S. As we reported last year, STOPP researched the information from Komen’s form 990, and found that a total of $711,485 had been given to Planned Parenthood affiliates from Susan G. Komen affiliates during one year.
One of the comments made in the upcoming TV show which will be aired in two and ½ weeks was, “If aborting a pregnancy increases a woman’s risk of breast cancer and Planned Parenthood is the number one provider of abortions in America, then the Susan G. Komen Foundation is giving money to an organization linked to causing breast cancer.”
To watch the episode now, go to: http://www.facinglife.tv/ and click on “Full Episode – Komen’s Dark Side” at the bottom of the player on the right side of the screen.
STOPP’s presence in Wisconsin
Jim Sedlak, vice president of ALL traveled to Wisconsin in January and the following piece was published in the Jan/Feb 2009 edition of Pro-Life Wisconsin’s newsletter The Banner:
On January 17, Jim Sedlak – director of STOPP, a division of American Life League focusing on Planned Parenthood – spoke to a crowd at St. Rita’s Church in Milwaukee.
Sedlak touched on many of the challenges facing the pro-life cause, including the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). Sedlak encouraged people to become involved at their parishes and to participate in prayer outside abortion clinics.
“We must make pro-life a way of life,” Sedlak said.
State Senator Glenn Grothman (R – West Ben) and State Representative Dan LeMahieu (R- Cascade) and Brian Kramer (R – Waukesha) spoke to the crowd, encouraging political advocacy.
During the Mass, Father James Kubicki, national director of the Apostleship of Prayer, urged pro-lifers to stay close to the heart of Jesus as we continue our work.
The event was co-sponsored by Pro-Life Wisconsin and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society.
Jim also spoke in Wausau, Wisconsin to an equally motivated group of pro-lifers.
PP changes plans as pro-lifers in Aurora, Illinois take action
Pro-lifers joined Pro-Life Action League in a protest outside of the Eola Community Center where a PP Community Forum was held last week in Aurora, Illinois. However, there’s a little more to this story than what meets the eye.
The Community Forum appeared to be open to the public – at first. PP held this forum to discuss a piece of legislation, Illinois House Bill 5615, the Reproductive Justice and Access Act.
Reports show that this “Community Forum” didn’t end up being open to all of the public. In fact there was a person standing guard only allowing certain people in the meeting. Why such security at this “Community Forum?”
Once word had gotten out that Pro-life Action League was organizing a protest, PP claimed, “its registration system had had a ‘glitch,’ and everyone would need to re-register. At the same time, they claimed that they were booked to capacity and could accept no new registrations.”
Even though less than 20 people attended the PP forum, as many as 40 pro-lifers protested the event and passed out about 300 pieces of literature about the RJAA.
Way to go Pro-Life Action League and Fox Valley Families Against PP!
