PP clinic to open in Juneau, Alaska
Planned Parenthood of Western Washington plans to open its fifth clinic in the state of Alaska. This new abortion facility is located at 3231 Glacier Highway in Juneau. This abortion business is scheduled to open tomorrow, February 12, and PP will begin to kill babies in this area by means of chemical, medical and surgical abortion.
If you live in Juneau, or in a community that has or will have a PP center, please consider starting a protest outside of your local PP facility or future PP site, and inform your community that PP is not to be trusted. You can do this through activities such as writing letters to the editor; distributing anti-PP literature; putting up a billboard or sign; holding a rally; circulating petitions opposing PP’s presence in your community; distributing newsletters; and letting local businesses, politicians and health officials know how corrupt an organization PP is. PP’s ‘National Condom Week’
As many of you already know, PP is an organization that kills for profit and lures young people into its clinics to sell them birth control and abortions, while promoting sexual promiscuity for youth in particular and society in general. Once again, PP is attempting to twist a day on which we traditionally send love notes and chocolates to the persons we love into another marketing opportunity.
February 14, Valentine’s Day, is fast approaching and, unfortunately, PP is once again lying to youth and young adults by telling them that not using a condom means they do not love the other person. PP, the nation’s largest abortion chain, certainly does not know what love is! PP takes Valentine’s Day and calls it “National Condom Day.” We have also come across situations wherein PP has labeled the week in which Valentine’s Day occurs (February 7–14) as “National Condom Week” and the entire month of February “National Condom Month.”
Take, for example, PP of Golden Gate in California – an affiliate known not only for making atrocious videos to sell more birth control and abortions, but also for bragging about concealing the rape of an 11-year-old girl on its web site. Now it is encouraging people to send condom e-cards for “Valentine’s Day/National Condom Week.”
Upper Hudson PP in New York plans to celebrate “National Condom Week” by giving businesses drink coasters displaying PP’s condoms and a character who says, “No glove, no love!” It has also provided “safer sex” kits to those who answered questions correctly as part of its question and answer game at Muddy Cup, an Albany coffee shop.
In the past, “National Condom Week” kicked off on February 14 at most PP affiliates. However, whether it starts before or after February 14, its motive hasn’t changed: PP wants your money and wants you to believe the lies. So, we need to continue to spread the truth: Living a promiscuous lifestyle will NOT solve your problems, and it will NOT bring you love. It will, however, increase your chances of getting an STD or AIDS. Living the life of chastity is the way to really show someone you love him/her. You also love yourself by respecting yourself and others, and ultimately, you love Christ by living the way He wants us to live. Living and loving others in this way brings authentic freedom – something PP knows nothing about.
PP celebrates 10th anniversary of offensive book for seven-year-olds
PP is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the controversial and offensive book for seven-year-olds titled It’s So Amazing. The author, Robie H. Harris, also wrote the pornographic children’s book for 10-year-olds titled It’s Perfectly Normal.
It’s So Amazing is on the list of offensive books and materials that PP promotes on its “Resources for Parents” web page. The reasons it is so offensive include the following:
• Seven-year-old children are introduced to the concepts of in vitro fertilization and birth control. Children are specifically told about birth control pills and condoms.
• As in Harris’ previous book, It’s Perfectly Normal, young readers are forced to endure a full page (page 13) of drawings showing frontal nudity for both men and women. Six separate drawings for each sex depict how the human body changes over time, from infancy to old age.
• On page 69, children are told that masturbation is a perfectly normal activity. It says, “Some people and some religions think it is wrong to masturbate. But most doctors agree that masturbation is perfectly healthy and perfectly normal – and cannot hurt you or your body.”
PP attempts to indoctrinate children nationwide using this type of book. Even if your school’s library does not have a copy of either It’s So Amazing or It’s Perfectly Normal, it might have PP’s sex education programs, which include the same type of material. Black History Month
Once again, PP is celebrating Black History Month and has listed Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. among the people “who have paved the way for access to critical reproductive health care services.”
PP exploits the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. to bring people into its circle of a “trusted health organizations” and, as it has done in the past, features a photo of him on its web site stating, “Read about African Americans who led the fight for civil rights and human rights.”
Talk about irony. Talk about hypocrisy. PP, the largest abortion chain in the country claims that MLK, Jr. would support it today. That he would support the killing of innocent children in the womb.
Dr. Alveda King, the niece of MLK, Jr. says “NO.” In February 2008, when PP was using her uncle’s name, Dr. King made the following statement:
Uncle Martin accepted an award from PP in 1966 when abortion was illegal in every state and before PP started publicly advocating for it. . . In 1966, neither the general public nor my uncle was aware of the true agenda of PP, an agenda of death that has become painfully obvious as the years have unfolded. . . There is no way he would want his name or image associated today with PP, the group most responsible for denying civil rights to the over 45 million American babies killed by abortion, one-third of them African-American.
PP is stooping very low in this attempt to link Martin Luther King, Jr.’s great contribution to the civil rights cause to support for its own abortion agenda. PP targets black communities and, in fact, is building an abortion facility on a street named Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. in Portland, Oregon. There is something very perverse about this. During this Black History Month, we encourage all African-Americans to work to end abortion, especially in light of the fact that 35 percent of abortions are committed on African-American babies.
Help stop new PP facility in Portland, Oregon!
We have received word that Peninsula Plumbing is a subcontractor for the construction of a 40,000-square-foot PP abortion facility in Portland, Oregon.
Please call Peninsula Plumbing today and ask it to stop doing business with the largest abortion chain in our country. Construction has begun on this PP facility, but it is not too late for Peninsula Plumbing to back out of its subcontract with PP.

‘Homeschooling Barack Obama’
As part of the continued fight against the Freedom of Choice Act and the Prevention First Act, American Life League has launched an ad campaign titled “Homeschooling Barack Obama.” This colorful full-page ad begins, “If Barack Obama had been conceived after 1973’s Roe v. Wade ruling…” Below this are three multiple-choice answers. The correct answer, circled in red ink, is this: “As an African-American, he would’ve had a 33.4 percent chance of being killed in the womb by organizations that have been called racist like PP – that target poor mothers in minority communities – using over $300,000,000 in taxpayer money each year.” The ad then continues with information about stopping FOCA and the Prevention First Act.
