Arizona Planned Parenthood covers up statutory rape of 15-year-old
Live Action Films released the third video of its Mona Lisa Project, which shows Planned Parenthood once again covering up statutory rape. This video was recorded at the PP facility located at 2255 N. Wyatt Drive in Tucson, Arizona. The video shows a PP employee giving a young girl, who posed as a 15-year-old, advice on how to get an abortion without her parents finding out. The solution offered to her was requesting that a judge waive the state’s parental consent requirement. When discussing the 27-year-old boyfriend the girl said she had, the PP employee advised her not to take him with her to the court hearing.
PP ignored the fact that this girl said she was being sexually abused by a 27-year-old man. The PP employee didn’t even appear to be concerned … when, in fact, in Arizona it is against the law for an adult to have sex with a 15-year-old.
The first of the Mona Lisa Project investigations took place at the PP on 421 S. College Avenue in Bloomington, Indiana. The second took place at the PP on 8590 Georgetown Road in Indianapolis, Indiana.
All three of these videos expose PP for what it truly is. PP does not help women; it is an organization that looks at women merely as customers and attempts to get as much money from them as possible, by killing their preborn children.
Pro-Choice Lobby Day
PP is doing all it can to ensure that more of our tax dollars go into its coffers. Tomorrow, February 5, PP plans to take abortion supporters from across the state of Virginia to the state capitol in Richmond to lobby state legislators for what it calls “Pro-Choice Lobby Day.”
PP is asking people to register, so that PP employees can schedule appointments for you to meet with your legislator, but you can come unannounced and discover some of PP’s strategies firsthand.
You can also call, write or meet with your legislator and ask him/her to not support state funding for PP.
No to FOCA legislation
The following are excerpts from a letter written by David Wallace of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was published in the Tulsa Beacon on February 3, 2009.
With the recent wave of Planned Parenthood scandals about racist abortions, statutory rape cover-ups and frauds, I have a “hope” that President Obama will abandon his campaign promise to Planned Parenthood to sign into law the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), the most radical proposed bill in America that would wipe off every abortion law of every state, totally deregulating that irresponsible industry.
I have a “hope” that Congress will end Planned Parenthood’s annual $330 million taxpayer bailout, and reject new abortion industry pleas for even more bailouts...
“We are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life…” But, without life, none of our other rights matter.
Pro-lifers protest at proposed Planned Parenthood sites on Roe v. Wade anniversary
On January 22, hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers gathered in Washington, D.C. to participate in the nation’s largest organized pro-life march, on the 36th anniversary of the infamous and horrific Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton U.S. Supreme Court decisions. Perhaps many of you, our readers, were there, but that wasn’t where all the pro-lifers were.
We have been hearing accounts from pro-lifers all over the country who participated in protests in their own communities during this time of remembering the 50 million preborn babies who have been murdered due to the decriminalization of abortion. Some of these protests occurred outside Planned Parenthood facilities.
A group of pastors and pro-lifers gathered outside what could be the Western Hemisphere’s largest abortion center (78,000 square feet, and located in Houston) and a 40,000-square-foot abortion center in Portland, Oregon. Both are PP facilities and, if built, would kill more babies and ruin more lives.
The proposed 78,000-square-foot PP facility is located at 4600 Gulf Freeway in Houston, Texas. On January 22, pastors representing various churches spoke out against this proposed killing center and made reference to PP’s founder, Margaret Sanger.
In January 24 in Portland, where PP plans to build a 40,000-square-foot abortion center, hundreds of pro-lifers marched on Martin Luther King Boulevard. Over 400 people were present for this protest, and plans for preventing the opening of this PP facility have been in the works for quite some time now.
Thanks to all who took part in these local protests, and we encourage all of you to continue taking part in local efforts to defeat Planned Parenthood and do all that you can to save the babies. Be sure to visit www.stopp.org/maps for more information on getting a protest started in your area.
Report from American Life League’s Training and Activism Week and Personhood Conference
The following report is from Marie Hahnenberg, researcher at American Life League and coordinator of the 2009 Training and Activism Week and Personhood Conference:
American Life League held its ninth annual Rock for Life Training and Activism event January 21-23. This year, our theme was “Personhood Now!”
Pro-lifers from across the country met in Washington, D.C. to take part in our 2009 Training and Activism Week. This year, TAW also included American Life League’s Personhood Conference, which featured Lila Rose, president of Live Action Films; Shaun Kenney, executive director of American Life League; Ambassador Alan Keyes, founder and chairman of the Declaration Foundation; Kristi Burton, founder of Colorado for Equal Rights; David Bereit, national campaign director of 40 Days for Life; and Dr. Theresa Deisher, founder of AVM Biotechnology.
Our three-day event began in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic on 16th Street in Washington, D.C., and as people gathered to pray for the mothers and preborn babies, pro-lifers also gathered for a memorial walk. The walk started at PP, went on to the White House and ended in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. The participants carried 36 crosses, each marked with a year representing each year that abortion has been decriminalized in the United States. TAW attendees also participated in the March for Life on January 22.
Other TAW presentations included a “Rock for Life Training Session” given by Phil Eddy, Rock for Life's Chapter and Street Team program director, and me; a talk on “Pro-Life Blogging” given by Jill Stanek, renowned pro-life activist/blogger and former registered nurse; an “International Pro-Life Panel” (panelists were Fr. Bill Bellrose, CPM and Joseph Meaney of Human Life International; Prue Nieberding, of Youth for Life Australia; and Melissa Powell, a social worker in Nigeria); and a “Congressional Education Workshop” given by Johanna Dasteel, ALL’s senior congressional liaison; and Michael Barnett, ALL’s leadership development director.
A highlight for the youth was to hear from UCLA student Lila Rose, president of Live Action Films. She is one of the students involved in the undercover investigations of PP. Lila gave an excellent presentation and is one of many excellent role models for youth in the fight to defeat PP.
Needless to say, it was a phenomenal event, and we had people of all ages participating in the training workshops as well as jamming to music performed by some fabulous pro-life bands. As more and more young people are standing up and fighting to end abortion, they are also realizing that defeating PP, the country’s largest abortion chain, is a major part of this battle.
