— American Life League president Judie Brown will join pro-life leaders from around the world to participate in the first-ever Internet-based International Conference on Population Control
. This groundbreaking seminar, which takes place from October 17–19, will shed light on the dangerous associations the Vatican's Pontifical Academy of Sciences has made recently with radical population control proponents such as The Population Bomb
author Paul Ehrlich. In addition, these leaders will discuss the grave harm population control programs are inflicting on the world’s poor.
Sponsored by the Lepanto Institute, this seminar will feature 12 distinct presentations October 17, 18, and 19 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm EST. Judie Brown’s major presentation entitled "The Shake-Up and Breakdown of the Pontifical Academy for Life" is scheduled for October 17 at 2pm EST.
"As a 15-year member of the former Pontifical Academy for Life I fear that the entire effort has been derailed by suspicious forces in the bureaucracy of the Vatican, including and especially Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia who is now guiding the group,” Brown stated. “It will be my privilege to discuss how the once prestigious Pontifical Academy for Life has lost its way."
Other pro-life leaders speaking at the seminar include John-Henry Westen, cofounder of LifeSiteNews; Steve Mosher, president of Population Research Institute; Bishop Athanasius Schneider, auxiliary bishop of Astana, Kazakhstan; and many more. Mike Church, well-known radio personality from his time at SIRIUS/XM radio, will host the online event.
"Many people are completely unaware that population control is pushed by organizations and charities they donate to and trust," said Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute. "What they are told is helping vulnerable people actually harms them, robbing them of opportunities and the right to self-determination."
Registration for the live event is free, and recordings and transcripts of the sessions will be available afterward for a fee.
To register, participants are asked to visit populationconference.com.
